She was aware enough to see his look change - from oddly friendly to wary, but she only noted that in the part of her brain that was gearing up for the fight. He could easily be playing her - the best way to avoid a problem would be to act like she was the mental one in the situation. She swallowed her rage, trying to keep a rational head, even as blood boiled and she felt she could kill the man in front of her - lucky they weren't next to a display of sharp objects but she was sure she could make a weapon out of a coathanger.
"i'm not who you think." She gave him a look of disgust, "what a ridiculous line," as if he could be anyone else. She would never forget that face - never be able to. She despised him even more for pretending. "How dare you," Her voice shook with the strength of her anger and she took a step forwards, hands clenching and unclenching with the need to strike out. "i'm not giving you my child lady...take a breath and turn around, walk away." She glared right back at him, taking another step into his space, the outrage was clear in her face. "Your child? You can't come in here and act like you have any right..." The words failed her, she spared a glance to the child, her emotions warring on her face, the need to have her child back, that desperation, that panic. He was right there in front of her... being parading. "You are a cruel, disgusting little man, Cade. You will give me back my little boy." She lowered her voice. Sometimes, she felt people forgot where she came from. Mostly she was glad for it, but though she'd been off the streets a long time now, it had never fully left her. She'd been a fighter, she still was, especially when it came to her family, no matter how soft she seemed to have become.
She thought perhaps after shopping it would be a good idea to get some lunch. Especially as the kids seemed settled enough, and being out and about was helping a little in terms of her mood. There was something about fresh air that just helped everything ease a little, even if it was a miserable day outside. Luckily it wasn't, and her and the babies had been able to enjoy a rare touch of sun to their skin before they'd entered the cool of the clothes shop. She smiled slightly at another funny babygrow but didn't pick it up, she wasn't here to spend all the savings, as tempting as that might be. She was normally much more aware of her surroundings, it was only instinct for her to be given how she'd grown up, but she'd be spoiled since then by a false sense of security among other nice things, and suddenly she was the type to be knocking into strangers.
"no it's my fault." She took a quick motherly glance into her stroller, wanting to check the kids hadn't suffered for her lack of concentration. They were still quiet and settled, dozing in the comfort of their blankets, and then she turned to face the stranger. And immediately froze. She should have recognised the voice, but she'd not been listening properly, but she recognised that face. That bastard fucking face. Rage took over in an instant, before fear or rationality did. Her heart leapt to see a baby with him. Her baby. It had to be. Who else would have that face and a little infant. How he could do this. Parade her stolen child around town as if he were a proud father. It made her sick. All this in a second, all so fast. Her brain screamed at her about the kids still in her possession. She had to keep them safe most of all. What if he tried to take the rest. "You. You.....you.." Words failed her, desperate to leap at him but unable to move a step. "Give me back my child." Her voice was a cold threat, but if she'd looked twice she would have seen the child wasn't hers, the nose not quite right, the hair not the right colour, the features not as masculine...
Hannah was in a melancholy mood and she was trying hard to hold on to it before it could turn sad. It had been some months since her son had been taken from her, and though her and Riley had been slowly piecing themselves back together, it was hard in moments like this. She had not given up, she would never give up looking for him, but she knew that it would get harder and harder to get him back as the time passed. She had to be strong, she had to be there for her other two boys - healthy and happy as they were, unknown to them that they were missing their third. They needed her, and Riley needed her too, as much as he wouldn't tell her or let it show. She knew him inside and out, he was hurting too and she knew he was trying to be strong for her. Hannah was trying to be there for him to, in ways he might not even realise.
Today, she'd gone out to pick up some bits the kids needed. They were settled and currently snoozing in their stroller, and she gently pushed it back and force out of instinct to keep them asleep as she browsed the babygrows on display. A touch of sadness as she looked them over, thinking of her third baby as she tried to decide on a couple to get the boys. Her eyes caught on one that mentioned being 1/3 and she swallowed hard to avoid the tears. There was no point in getting it, she didn't need a reminder of the third that was missing, she would never be able to forget. Sighing, she shook it off as best she could, hearing a sweet gurgle from the stroller and managing a small smile instead. They helped make it better, made her smile. They were surprisingly good babies, as if they knew the troubles their parents had and didn't want to make things worse.
She took a few steps away from the offending baby grow and picked up a couple of others instead, checking for the right sizes. "You guys grow so fast," She murmured softly, glancing at her list to check what else she was looking for and taking a step back. She stumbled as she accidentally knocked into someone, not having realised another person was in the isle with her she jumped slightly and spun, her heart pounding. "I'm sorry," She said automatically once her fight and flight instinct had taken a moment to check her and the fact she was not about to be attacked.
Hannah didn't know horses very well, and she wasn't very confident with them either - she had visited Riley a fair few times on the yard to bring him breakfast or lunch when he couldn't stop to come in for it, but that was as far as she went. Still, she didn't think that warranted not helping people in need. She was one of those girls that had to help, and finding out about the barn at Blue Acre's being burned down really hit her with a need to do something. She'd learned about the fundraiser from Lily, when she had signed some of her family up to go over, and Hannah had actually volunteered herself - much to Leo's disgust.
She didn't care, she needed to do what little she could, and so she'd offered herself up to do one of the few things she was good at - singing. She sang at the lounge a couple nights a week and people seemed to enjoy it, so she set herself up with some regular songs that she didn't need to rehearse too much. She had also given people the chance to write down requests - and hoped to God none of them were awful. Setting herself up on stage with her microphone, she gave it a little testing before she opened her mouth to start singing 'Call me maybe'.

hannah's parents never really wanted her. they were too young when they had her, had never planned her or a future together and she'd pretty much gotten in their way. they had a lot of money, and so they mostly left the kid to her own devices as she grew up, giving hannah every she might need - food and toys and such - but they never really spent much time with her, and hannah grew up alone. she never really seemed to mind, she was a surprisingly happy child, though she was always lacking care and she thrived to try and make her parents love her.. to no real avail.
in the end, they gave her away. they put her in a children's home when she turned 6, no longer wanting to keep trying. she went through an almost mute phrase, being passed from her parents to the childrens home was tough on her. from a house where she was often alone, to suddenly being thrown into a place with lots of other kids who weren't very nice and had to fight for everything. she'd never fought for anything before. she barely spoke a word for months, trying to adjust, trying to adapt and learn how to fight to keep what she had or get what she needed.
she toughened up during those years, until she got to the age of fifteen where she couldn't do it anymore. she couldn't live at the kids home anymore, and so she cut school and tried to get a job. she wanted to be able to move out and to get away from people. she managed to get away, she was lucky - she'd always had a good singing voice even if she'd never told anyone and she got a job singing in the local club, earning enough to buy herself a small apartment.. and then she ran like a bat out of hell away from the kids home and never looked back. she'd had her scraps, the occasional night on the street, her life had hardly been brilliant and she'd had her dark parts, done bad things, but she was desperate to get away from it all and she managed to.

in the end she was put into a children's home... it was obvious at school that she was neglected and they complained and authorities got involved. she went through an almost mute phrase, being passed from her parents to the childrens home and having to move an' all was tough on her, suddenly she was thrown into a place with lots of other kids who weren't very nice and she had to fight for everything when she'd never fought for anything before. she barely spoke a word for months, trying to adjust, trying to adapt and learn how to fight to keep what she had or get what she needed.

[/color]:[/b] singing chocolate cake sleeping in looking at the stars peace and tranquil places guys having a good influence on people tea being taken by surprise (as long as it's a good surprise) doing good deeds dancing having a good time
dislikes: being picked on being over powered being used abusive people violence drugs bitchy girls guys who don't know what 'no' means children homes being alone embarrassing herself being disrespected bullies
weaknesses: sometimes too forgiving weak fighter always wants to help people kindness - she can't help but respond to it
secrets: she's done several bad things over the years, including stealing and hurting people but it was for survival.
fears: being alone for the rest of her life. being taken back to the kids home. being bullied again.
habits: picks at her nails when she's nervous or bites her lip. sings or hums when she's happy or sometimes nervous or scared.
overall personality: whatever you might think hannah is after living in a kid's home and on the streets a litle, she's not. she's actually incredibly nice! she's a bit happy-go-lucky and definetly an optimist, tending to make the best out of every situation. she'll hum or sing when she's happy and often you might hear a soft tune coming from her mouth while she works or something. mostly she's optimistic to stop the bad stuff from getting to her, the depression, the fear....but she works hard to stay on the bright side of life.
she's trust-worthy, you could tell her anything and she wouldn't spill the beans to someone about what you said, so she's loyal too. she's a little too forgiving much of the time too, if you're her friend and you upset her, she'll say it's okay and she won't hold a grudge, but she's incredibly smart when it comes to picking friends.. she's a brilliant judge of character so she knows who to avoid and who to befriend. she can be fiesty if you really get to her - she may not be a good fighter but heck she's learnt a thing or two and you can't take her down without a fight.
