sitting across from shiloh, nik opened the file he had in front of him and he readied his pen to take notes during the interview. he couldn't remember a time there had been this many teenagers in and out of the station and he didn't like it much. oh they needed to be there, that was for sure and the reason was as serious as they come, but the fact they were teenagers just bothered him more than if they'd been adults. "so were you at the blue acres barn the night it burned?" he asked, looking straight at her as he studied her face. he wasn't going to beat around the bush, there was no point in playing it soft or to work up to the questions, he usually found straight to the point worked better.
interviewing teenagers was not something nik enjoyed doing. oh he knew it was part of the job but he didn't have to like it. but they needed to get to the bottom of the fire at the barn, the fire fighters were working on how the place burnt and it was his stations job to work out who had burnt it down, they had their suspicions but he was hoping they were wrong. he walked into the interview room with a quick smile as he looked at alisha. "thanks for coming down." he said as he set the file he had in his hands on the table and sat in the chair across from her. "let's get started shall we?" he said as he pulled a pen from his pocket and clicked the ball out. "where were you the night of the fire?"
