Shiloh smirked as someone handed her another shot, tossing it back without even asking what horrifying liquor was in it - could have been acid for all she knew (it certainly tasted like it on the way down). She pulled a face of disgust and handed back the glass. "The fuck is that? Good shit only, jesus." She complained, waving her fingers at the girl to get rid of her, and like a good little minion, the teenager vanished back into the crowd of dancing bodies. The party was in full swing, already there had been causalities - some people were busy throwing up outside, but as long as it wasn't in Shiloh's room, Shiloh's hair or on Shiloh's fancy Lou Vuitton shoes, she really didn't care. There were people that had turned up that definitely had not been invited, but she didn't feel like chasing them out today, let them see what it was like in the other circles, let them have a taste of champagne and daddy's money, before they never would again.
Someone turned up with another keg of cheap beer and a cheer went up from the masses. Beer wasn't really her thing, but when she was in the mood she was a little less fussy about what she was throwing down her throat. She spotted Deimos and Alisha dancing together across the room, Theia was less obvious to spot, and at first Shi wondered if she'd gone back to hiding in her room, but there - skulking at the back in a gloomy corner, nursing something that she hoped wasn't just a coke. Shi rolled her eyes and turned away, grabbing the arm of a guy nearby and pulling him in to dance.
She dumped Mal somewhat unceremoniously into the chair and then took her own. Her role was done, she would certainly not be stooping herself to helping him remove his clothes. He had no issue doing that himself on a daily basis. Today was no different. Instead she pulled out her phone for a moment, firing off a couple of important texts - it was priority to keep in the loop about things. A couple of minions had been gathering intel on a new classmate, but none of it was any good so far. She told them to go back and do better. Then she let the group know that Mal wasn't dead but that his foot might be in need of amputation. To which Dei sent a stupid gif, and Alisha told Shi she should give the poor guy a BJ for pain relief. She pulled an ugly face at that and sent back the vomit emoji. Theia didn't reply, she rarely did unless Shi poked her for an answer, and no doubt her response would be that she was clearly overreacting. Very dull.
”Messed my ankle up tonight, not sure if it’s broken.” Shi looked up in time to see Mal's expression as the nurse poked on his ankle. She couldn't help but smirk slightly and tell him to "Stop being such a pussy." A comment which had the nurse glancing her way with a reproachful look. Shi gave her a look of disgust right back. ”It seems to be a bad sprain but you’ll need an x-ray to rule out a break.” All that for a sprain. Men. ”If it’s broken I’m suing.” Shi smirked again at that. "Yes dear. And if it's not, I am. You practically broke my back hobbling in." and then the wheelchair was rolled in and she couldn't help but laugh, just a little. "Off you go, old man Mal." She waved him off as they took him away to x-ray. She was just starting to get bored when he returned, keeping herself busy with her communications. ”congratulations, it’s not broken.” Shi rolled her eyes and glanced at Mal. "Guess you'll hear from my lawyer in due course." not being serious of course, but unsurprisingly there was a family lawyer she'd reached out to on a few occasions.
She folded her arms to watch the grumpy nurse fix him up, and the slid her phone into her pocket and stood, taking a moment to stretch. What an exciting night. ”Grab that blondie.” Shi curled her lip. "Not on your life .." She grimaced, wishing for a pair of gloves or chopsticks as it was thrust at her all the same. "Ew gross." She complained, but was nice enough not to throw it in the bin on their way out, even holding the door open for his majesty so he didn't get himself injured further.
”Yeah cause you’re hoarding it away here.” Shi cast a glance over the bottles he was referring to then snorted, rolling her eyes. "You think that's good?" because off course the ice queen herself had enjoyed top of the shelf many times over the years. She just didn't bother to buy it any more. It wasn't really worth the expense when you went through several bottles a week and mixed it with fizz. ”If you don’t mind waiting for it. .my next wash won’t be for another week or so.” She raised a brow at that, having already known his washing habits. Much like the rest of their crew, she never everyone's habits inside and out. You couldn't help it when you spent almost 24 hours a day with them, and she made it her own habit to know everything about everyone. Particular attention to those she gave two shits about. "Even if you needed to wash that hoodie you love so fucking much?" a thinly veiled threat. Everyone had some creature comforts or sentimentality to an item or two, just like she had a favourite top and a favourite skirt and all that. People made more effort to get those washed in record timing. She didn't really care about the towel though, it was just a damn towel. She'd buy a new one if she needed.
”Pshh please, you love treating us fucking well.” Another quirk of her brow, side eyeing the boy. "Because I like to flash daddy's credit card about?" She guessed, rolling her eyes. "Please, that has nothing to do with the rest of you." and absolutely everything to do with daddy issues. If it was her own money she'd probably be a bit less frivolous. Perhaps. Maybe. Probably not. She really did like to spend, and if she had the cash then she didn't care where it went. ”then why’d you throw a party? We could’ve just had a drink in your room.” Shiloh sighed, shifting her butt a little to get more comfortable and surveying Mal over the rim of her now empty glass. "All these years and you still don't get it, pretty boy?" Of course he wouldn't, even though he had the status and the popularity partly in due to her and what she did. Boys never got it though, they just got to live in it. Like Dei. He thought it took no effort, to be at the top of the food chain. But it took effort to get there and it took damn fucking effort to stay there. She'd never admit it, because she loved it, but sometimes it was actually exhausting. "It's what I do" it was 'expected' of her. To host the best parties, to entertain. It showed her status, her wealth, it showed who else was important in the uni, those invited and those unwelcome, and more often than not something went down at one of them, the belittling of someone, the public sharing of best kept secrets. It was important. And she just wasn't up to it together. "They have their booze, they have their DJ, they'll be fine." She shrugged, reaching once again for the bottle.
”Oh I’m not, I do like it” She smirked at that and flashed him a quick wink. "If you didn't, I'd be concerned." Because none of the friends in her circle were sweet and squishy kinds of people, and she was glad for it. ”I’ll keep that in mind.” Shi glanced at Theia and her thunderous face and nodded. Theia had some scary shit in her deep down, the kind that even Shi wouldn't touch - it was a different kind of anger. Shi was cold and calculating, an ice Queen by nature, and tended to keep her cool even when she was furious. Theia's temper was hot, a fire that'd rip through your house and burn everything to the ground.
"Then get up, and get out, The door is right there." Shiloh let out a burst of laughter, for a minute thinking of that stupid TikTok 'there's the door bitch' meme that had been going around recently. "This is far too entertaining to walk out of. I'm learning a lot, please continue there Pasha." She taunted, crossed her arms and settling back further in the chair, her keen eyes flicking back and forth between Pasha and the other students. People thought of her as a bubble headed Barbie because of her looks, but she was more intelligent and a lot more observant than people gave her credit - it was what allowed her to know everything about everyone, along with her little minions that brought her news and secrets.
"There are no failings here, despite what you might think. I got what I was after here.... Really? Well, if it is to be blackmail, then you should all care enough to attend and do the minimum.... Well, well - another misuse of terms. You've just decided the fate of the class madam. Defensive behavior will be the focus of this month's assessment. By the end of this month I will be expected at minimum, a one page research paper on Defensive Behavior. This paper will be required by the end of the month, failure to hand in the minimum page - which is 500 words - will have an automatic failure. You will need to include the definition of what Defensive Behavior is, examples, reasoning and causes for such behavior. When it was first officially sited, whom by, and if it has any links to disorders or traumas. Take notes, a picture - I don't care enough to hold your hands through this. You are all so adult enough that I think you can manage this. Once you are done with that, you are free to leave - I've already taken the roster." Shiloh gave a very pointed and theatrical yawn, still enjoying herself far too much. "Yeah...I don't think any of us will be handing that in, sweetheart. Better things to do, you know."
She raised a pointed brow at his snort. ”Yeah, that’s what I let you believe.” She rolled her eyes, but didn't comment. He might think like that, like he wasn't in the thick of their friendship group, letting her sway him like she did to everyone, but she knew that if she needed him, he'd be there just like any of the others would. Ready to have her back. That was what mattered. ”Yeah better not.” at least he agreed, so there was that, she didn't care if he got pulled up on the drugs in his system, but she didn't want to spend all her time here, and there was only so much sway she had in regards to not having the police called on them, or some other bullshit.
Shi gave a triumphant smirk as Mal tipped his head to her - pleased he'd acknowledged her hard work - and it hadn't even been that hard. She'd had worse cases to break through in the past. She stood before him, letting him get to his own feet without her influence and then being nice and allowing him to take her arm again. She helped him down the hallway, following the nurse who had called out his name. She didn't bother to ask if he wanted her in there or not, she kept the door open with a shoulder and entered the private consultation room, depositing Mal into a chair and settling into the one next to him so he could do his talking. He wasn't invalid enough to need her to do that.
She noted the raise of his brow, and wondered what kind of attitude bullshit she was about to get back. Normally she quite enjoyed their back and forth, even if she had a face like a slapped ass when he talked to her, but today she wasn't in the mood for whit and shit. ”who pissed in your cereal tonight?” She rolled her eyes at his response, but it didn't piss her off as much as she anticipated, taking a swig from her glass and letting the liquid burn it's way down her throat. "There wasn't any good vodka to pour over them." She muttered, finding herself perching on the edge of her desk to avoid crumpling onto her bed in a heap and not resurfacing.
Of course he'd just shrug it off, as if any of her comments got past the thick lizard hide he called a skin. ”My towel was in the wash and I didn’t fancy air drying.” It was Shiloh's turn to roll her eyes, and she took another swig. She didn't really have an issue with it, but she couldn't help but fall back on their usual tennis match. "Then you'll be taking that with you and washing it." She curled her lip as she looked pointedly at her towel around his damn waist. She huffed at his expectation of her to top up his drink, but as hers was nearly empty, she popped the lid of her bottle and poured a healthy amount into each glass. "You're lucky I treat you so fucking well." She muttered, glancing up to see his naked ass and shaking her head. Not like she hadn't see that before, given that they all frequently changed in front of each other.
”How’s the party?” Shi swirled the liuid in her glass and shrugged, shifting onto the desk a little more for a more comfortable position. "It's going." She commented, chucking back almost half the alcohol in one. "I'm not in the mood." She reluctantly added. Her and Mal didn't really do feelings, Shi didn't do feelings in general really, they were uncomfortable things - but occasionally they slipped out.
"Course they do." She smirked at his agreement and gave him a smug look, not caring that he was being sarcastic. "I'm not a pawn thank you very much. I answer to nobody." She snorted and turned her head, giving him a pointed look. "You answer to me," She responded. They all did really, even if they didn't think so. People were easy to maneuver and manipulate, and though she did not do that to her friends it was generally because she didn't need to, or with them it was more persuading and cajoling than anything else. She liked them after all - loved them actually, as much as she was capable of loving people. Besides, it went both ways. She would do anything for her people.
Like knock a bitch about for being rude and not bumping them up the triage queue. "Yeah. . I can manage." Shi nodded and shifted in her seat slightly, "I didn't think to bring anything, but I guess it's probably best you didn't take things." She could have got him some weed, or some heavy ass pain meds, but the hospital would find out soon enough and then there'd be questions. It would be better than what they could provide here, aside from maybe morphine, but Mal looked particularly ill. As the clock struck five minutes, true to word, Shi sighed and uncrossed her legs, gathering herself up and all her mighty bitchiness, ready to lose her shit.
She stalked over to the desk, fixing a fake ass powder puff smile on her face as she took her 'no bullshit' stance in front of the woman. "I gave you five minutes, whether you knew it or not. Time's up." She announced, seeing the confusion on the clerk's face. "My friend over there, will be next in, or I'll make sure that not only are you are called in for every night shift, every bank holiday, every late notice cover and all that bullshit. I'll make A&E on every day the most ridiculous party of assholes and crazies you could ever hope to dream of. A living nightmare. And if you don't think it's possible, that I could do that, have that influence, then I can't wait to prove you wrong." She loved that look. That speechlessness they get when they couldn't decide if Shi was lying or just being petulant or what. Instead, she just shook her head slightly, made a quick call and a doctor came scurrying out of a room. "Malachai Zeklos?" They called, peering around for their next patient. Shi smirked in triumphant, "pleasure doing business." She snorted as she left the woman and went back over to Mal, offering a reluctant arm to help him.
Her eyes flickered to her bed with a delicate sigh. It was tempting. For whatever reason, the night wasn't doing it for her, the alcohol wasn't hitting the sweet spot, the guy's weren't tempting enough. She just wasn't feeling it. It was frustrating - she was here to get drunk and have a good time and something was preventing it this evening. The night was still young, but she had a feeling things were not going to improve. She could ruin someone else's night to entertain herself, she'd done that before a few times, but she wasn't even the mood to fuck with someone either. Maybe she needed a good screw; but then again, none of the guys were piquing her interest either.
Vodka might help though. Vodka would definitely help. She tilted her head at the glass on the side - picking it up to take a sniff and then having an experimental sip. Vodka. Huh. Had the alcohol Gods gifted her a glass as a sign? She took another long sip, and then suddenly she'd finished the glass before she knew it. Putting it down and wiping her mouth, she'd just picked the bottle up to pour another glass when her bathroom door open. She hadn't noticed there was anyone else in there with her - unusual for her, she wasn't drunk enough for that lack of observation just yet.
Her eyebrows dropped at who it was. "Oh, it's you." Unimpressed. "Don't you have your own shower? I don't need whatever fluid's you've left behind in it, in mine." She curled her lip. Damn, she was crankier than she expected today, but the words were out and she didn't feel like taking it back. Mal could handle it, he was a big boy and she had a valid point. ”Honey you’re home early.” She rolled her eyes, pouring a healthy measure of the good stuff, and then promptly knocking it back. She'd have to be careful - too many more and she'd be on the ground before she knew it. She grimaced, though not at the taste; she barely tasted it in that moment. What was up with her this evening.
Bitch please, you're not that poor. That's why you get a dealer who's never out of the good stuff. As if, you try too hard you know. If I tell you, it'll spoil the surprise.
She raised a brow at his shrug, waiting for a sarcastic comment that didn't come. In his defence he actually looked pretty good naked. Not that she would ever tell him that. Give him an even more ridiculous ego. But they'd all seen each other naked plenty from the casual way they walked in on each other so frequently - not even when they were going out for the night. Shi never cared, she loved her body and had no issue with showing it off. Plus there was the little fact of how many of them has slept with each other and seen it anyway - not her and Mal of course but aside from Theia they all connected in that way somehow. Alisha probably the most. Some people turned their lip up at it, thinking it to be incestuous. But to Shi, sex was just sex and none of them had any relation to each other by blood. What could you expect to happen when you put together such a good looking bunch of young adults who all liked to drink and sleep around? She was surprised Theia had held out for so long but now that she had that Joe boy she knew Theia was set.
"You can talk, your favourite subject is you." She gave a small snort and a shrug. "I'm just giving the people what they want - everyone wants to know everything about me." and she was vain enough to believe it too. She finished the forms and saw him shift, likely uncomfortable but not something she could do much to help with. She smiled sweetly at his look when she paused in front of the vending machine. "i'll pass spawn of satan." she gave a dramatic sigh as she picked out a Bounty. "I prefer Queen of Hell, if you don't mind young pawn." She smirked and returned to her chair next to him with the chocolate, glancing over to the woman at the counter with an impatient expression. It had already been too long and she deliberately glanced to her watch when the woman caught her eye. "She gets five minutes and then...times up." Her tone wasn't rude and anyone who didn't know her would think nothing of it. But Mal would here it - that warning tone that something Wicked this way would come if she didn't get her way... pronto. "Can you hold on five minutes?" She asked with genuine concern as she glanced pointedly to the leg. He did look awfully green and as much as she ribbed him and he pissed her off on the daily, he was family.
Plastic? Bitch please if that ain't diamond encrusted and 24K, it's not going near this head. You say that now but I know you cry into your pillow every night like a little bitch. Don't get too excited it's not that kind of payment. Despite all your hopes and dreams about me.
Ooh now I'm a Princess? I always felt my head was missing a crown. Will you be buying me one for my birthday? I want a better payment than that, we both know names don't upset my like they do your precious sensitive skin.
