LEONARDO SAMUEL WHITE has been brought in for questioning as a known troublemaker and prankster, with particular aim toward Blue Acre Stables - even more suspicious that his is part owner of the rival barn and has a short temper and a habit for bar fights.
second interview of the day, although Detective Diana Perry knew this interview was classified as an interrogation. Unlike her earlier interview of Casey Lloyd, her boss made it clear that one Leonardo 'Leo' White was indeed, a suspect. While nobody saw him at Blue Arces per say, various interviewees proclaimed him both a troublemaker and a prankster, with numerous Blue Arces students complaining about him especially. Per town gossip, and quite frankly, his file, Leo White had a seriously short temper and a habit for bar fights. There was not enough coffee in the world that could prepare her for this.
Still, Diana Perry didn't mind a challenge. And this cold case wasn't going to solve itself. It seemed like with the new information brought to light, her boss wanted it closed and shut so the town could move on. It was funny, growing up here, Diana didn't remember the horse and stables scene being quite so competitive, but it had been nearly twenty years since she lived here in town. Grabbing the file she needed, Diana left her desk now and headed to the interrogation room where she could see behind the one way glass, he was already sitting there - looking cocky and cool as ever. Sighing slightly, she grasp the door knob and opened the door now, stepping inside.
"Good afternoon Mr. White. My name is Detective Perry. I assume you know why you're here," Diana informed him now, taking a seat across from the young man as she dropped the file on the table with a satisfying thud.
Whilst it wasn't entirely fair - in Leo's opinion - that he was being treated like a suspect for the fire, he could understand it to a degree. He knew he had a history of pranks, and was a known troublemaker and all that jazz but come on... as if anyone had ever been hurt from his pranks, as if he would ever hurt a horse. That was the part that stung about it. His sister had warned him that his pranking ways would come back to bite him in the ass one day, and today was that day, she hadn't been surprised when he'd told her he'd been called in for questioning. It had been a friendly police call, and he wasn't arrested, but it was enough to know he was in trouble for it when this wasn't his doing (for once).
He'd been left to stew in the room for some time, but he stayed calm and relaxed, reclining in the hard metal chair as much as he could to be comfortable. He wasn't going to get stressed about it, they would come when they felt like it, and he knew they were trying to stress him out to crack him. Nothing to crack, and this wasn't his first rodeo either. Finally the door opened and he glanced up curiously, arms casually folded he didn't chance his position when the older woman approached and took her own seat opposite. "Good afternoon Mr. White. My name is Detective Perry. I assume you know why you're here," The thud of the folder caught his attention and he gave a slight chuckle, "I'm almost insulted by the size of that," he joked, "Definitely not big enough." He added with an easy grin and then nodded, "yes, I know why I'm here, and I'm hoping this should be short and sweet."
