Cassie was excited getting another student. She was always doing what she could to encourage more people to ride Western. With her recent success in the show pen with Willow, more people were looking into who she was and where she was teaching.
She left a note for Bailey in the grooming area, informing her they'd be riding outside. Cassie had already finished riding her three horses, glad that they had all behaved themselves on that particular day. She would have to do an assessment lesson with her before she knew where to put her in her weekly lesson schedule. The blonde made her way to the outdoor arena, leaving Charm in the hands of Maddie - who had agreed to groom him for her. The buckskin was becoming fond of the dark haired stable hand.
Once she made it to the outdoor arena, she put her sunglasses on - waiting for the arrival of her new student. Cassie made herself busy, creating an obstacle course for the two - some of them easier than others. It was almost a test of some sort, but it would help Cassie figure out what needed to be worked on and with who Bailey could do group lessons with if the younger woman decided that.
Shortly after, the sound of the gate opening and closing behind her signaled to her that her student had arrived. "Hey, you must be Bailey, right? I'm Cassie. I'll be your coach for this afternoon. Why don't you get on when you are ready and you can tell me about yourself and your horse." She turned herself around and set the last pole on the ground, dusting her hands off on her jeans before turning her focus back to her new student.
[attr="class","character-lavender-content"] Bailey Gallagher arrived at the barn in the nick of time. She had one hell of a morning, some of the cows had managed to get close, and needed roundin' up. And then after that, she had to milk them and had a lack of help from her other two siblings who were 'too busy' with university studies. Yeah right. Bailey had also lost track of time poking around the barns in general, looking for a hidin' individual, but it would appear that he wanted to still remain a ghost for now. Guess that was fine with her, the young woman still hadn't told her parents about him even though they were leaving him plates of delicious food. Talk about freeloadin'.
That didn't matter though, not when she stepped through the doors of Blue Arces barn and it felt as if a force field shedded all her thoughts away. Today was a ridin' day, and she and Barb were going to knock the socks off Cassandra McLellan and send them running across the pastures without her boots. To be honest, Bailey was a little insulted that she needed to be schooled in 'basic's, th at last teacher she had must have left her a bad review. Stubborn. Willful. Cheater. Those were all words that came to mind when Bailey thought about her old coach, words hurled at her when she couldn't take some simple conversation any more with the teenager.
Whatever. Not everyone could mesh with Bailey Gallagher, and that was their fuckin' loss. She pulled Barb out to groom and saddle up, noticing the note left by Cassie, "Guess you and me will be kicking out some new dirt today, girl." She said, finishing up the bridle and talking care of the cinch, "Let's go, Barb." Bailey said with a grin as she grabbed her hat, putting it on her head and lead her grulla mare outside to arena now. It was't long before a pretty woman, looking picture perfect, in a long red blouse with wide boot cut jeans, "The one and only. I'm bout to become your favorite student, Miss McLean," Bailey said with a grin, "This here is Barb. My partner in crime."
Dark eyes looked to the arena now, eyeborws arching, "Man, that's quite the trickery you got goin' on there." This definlently was going to be an intereseting lesson. Sticking her foot into the stirup now, Bailey hoisted herself right up into the saddle, and started Barb walking along the arena now. Both girl and mare were still staring at the poles with interest as Bailey kept her reins slack but her heels squeezing the mare forward, "What do you want to know bout us anyways? Did you not get a review from whats her face?" Bailey called out now.
