Kennedy had just finished another night of burlesque dancing at the club. She walked backstage and got changed - knowing she needed a drink or two before she headed home. There was also more of the show to watch before the night was truly over.
She put her costume in her locker and locked it up before walking out to the bar - the sound of her stiletto heels clicking against the floor. The brunette saw that her usual spot at the bar wasn't taken so she hopped up on the stool, hanging her bag across the back so it was close - in case she needed to make an exit.
A bartender approached her and set down a napkin, quickly followed by a vodka cran - something she had ordered for herself before she started work. Kennedy smiled and took a sip, spinning her chair towards the stage so she could watch the rest of the show.
Lincoln couldn’t believe what his friend had dragged him into tonight. He’d decided to try and cheer Link up by taking him to the luna lounge to see the burlesque dancers. The only problem was, they were both under age so they’d had to hide in the bathroom once the curfew for under eighteen’s was put in place. As they came out, Link went to find a couple of seats while his friend tried to get a drink. Unfortunately for his friend, the bartender saw through his fake ID and had him kicked out. Link was tempted to just but the show began and he was put under the spell of a stunning brunette on the stage. He felt compelled to stay. Once she was finished with her part of the show, his eyes followed her to the bar and he found himself heading over there and taking the seat next to her. ”Hey, you were incredible”

The teen set the drink down and watched her coworkers take the stage. She was feeling more tired than usual - having hit the gym and ridden Rosso before she started work.
She didn't usually stay after to watch but there weren't any drug deals to run for her father today. Kennedy glanced around the room, seeing if she knew anyone to go talk to.
Kennedy heard a voice she didn't recognize coming from the seat next to her. She smiled before she turned her chair to face her neighbor. "Hi there. Did you really think so?" She didn't realize she had a fan already.
"Was that your first time watching me?" Kennedy didn't recognize the teenager sitting next to her, which was odd as she spent most nights dancing.
She took a moment to look at him. He seemed younger than her but she didn't mind that.
Link watched as the stunning brunette turned in her chair to face him. "Hi there. Did you really think so?" He nodded, a little to enthusiastically and smiled. "Hell yeah, you were amazing." He said honestly. He hadn't seen anyone dance before but from what he saw, she definitely knew what she was doing. "Was that your first time watching me?" He nodded again. "It was. . I don't really come here much." He said, not exactly lying. He didn't go there much because, one it was expensive for a meal and 2, he wasn't old enough to be there after a certain time. "Have you been dancing long?" He asked curiously.

"You'll have to come any watch me again then." She used her hand to flip her hair back over her shoulder and smirked - having an audience was her favorite thing about dancing at the club.
Kennedy turned and took another sip of her drink through the small straw - starting to feel the buzz from the alcohol. "It's a shame really. Seems like lots of people like watching me." It made her feel more confident about herself after seeing how many people came to watch the show.
"As a job? It's been about a year now. I never took any lessons or anything." It was one thing she hid from her parents - they knew about the drug running as her father was her boss. "Did you want something to drink?" She glanced over at her new fan - realizing that he didn't have a drink in front of him.
"You'll have to come any watch me again then." His eyes watched her hair as it flicked over her shoulder before moving back to hers, half mesmerised. "definitely. ." He agreed. "It's a shame really. Seems like lots of people like watching me." He nodded, unable to stop himself from running his eyes over her body. "Well. . they'd be stupid not to." If half of the women where as good looking and moved as well as the brunette next to him then he could see why people enjoyed watching them. "As a job? It's been about a year now. I never took any lessons or anything." His lips quirked into a slight smile. "Natural talent then" He mused. "Did you want something to drink?" He glanced towards the bar then back to the woman. "uh sure. .i'll have a beer, thanks." Yes he was underage but one beer wouldn't kill him. He'd drunk worse with his friends in a field.

"I'm usually here most nights if I'm not busy with my other job." She knew the schedule was posted on the website and she tried her best to remember it - but sometimes her father needed her to do a drug run last minute. "I'm sure you know my name already, but what's yours?" Kennedy grinned. Her name was typically mentioned before she came on to dance - though she couldn't tell if the teen had seen the whole thing or not.
"So there's nothing you'd change about the routine then?" She tried to ask a few people as it was not something she could discuss with her parents. "Well someone's a smooth talker. I do think I need to find someone to teach me some lessons though. Keep myself in shape when I'm not dancing." She just started working with a personal trainer at the Gym - hoping that it would help her in some way.
Kennedy nodded and waved the bartender over. She ordered a beer for the man next to her. "Do you know which kind of beer you'd like?" As she wasn't much of a beer drinker, Kennedy wouldn't be of much help if he didn't know. The bartender pulled down a beer glass from the shelf above his head and waited.
"I'm usually here most nights if I'm not busy with my other job. I'm sure you know my name already, but what's yours?" He smiled and gave a slight nod. He’d heard her name being announced before her performance and it had stuck in his mind. ”Link.” He thought about giving a false name for a second but decided against it. "Well someone's a smooth talker. I do think I need to find someone to teach me some lessons though. Keep myself in shape when I'm not dancing." He refrained from snorting at the compliment. He’d never been a smooth talker. He didn’t even know how he was managing to speak to the girl without falling over his words. Girls had never been easy to talk to. Maybe the confidence of pretending to be older was working some magic. ”I’m sure you could find someone here to teach you.” He watched as the bar tender came over and acknowledged him with a tilt of his chin. "Do you know which kind of beer you'd like?" He glanced at the beers in the fridge and made his choice. ”I’ll take a corona, thanks.”

She took another sip of her drink, raising her eyebrow at the mention of his name. "Link? Is that some sort of nickname? Or did your parents really call you that?" She knew no one really liked their name but she seemed to enjoy hers. It was something that sounded snobby, which suited her personality.
"You mean someone that works here? I really don't think anyone would do that. I'm a bit difficult to work with. Though I did just hire a personal trainer." She knew it wouldn't be an overnight thing, but her strength would build up over time. The bartender glanced over and nodded, pulling a can out of the fridge and set it in front of him.
"So, you drink beer often then?" It was something that reminded her of her father. He was the beer drinker in their house. Both her and her mother disliked it. Kennedy glanced at the stage, noticing the next dancer after her had started. It wasn't often that she was around to watch her coworkers as she usually had a drug run after she was done.
"Link? Is that some sort of nickname? Or did your parents really call you that?" He smirked a little at the directness of her words. ”Yeah it’s a nickname for Lincoln.” He responded. Given some of his brothers names, he thought his was a decent one. He liked his nickname. "You mean someone that works here? I really don't think anyone would do that. I'm a bit difficult to work with. Though I did just hire a personal trainer." He shrugged his shoulders at her answer to his suggestion. ”Oh right. . well that’s good I suppose?” He guessed. Building strength was always a good thing. "So, you drink beer often then?" He lifted the bottle and took a sip before turning back to the brunette. ”Every now and then. . I’m not a big drinker.”

"Now I see why you go by Link. I thought maybe you were good at technology or something." Kennedy's only nickname came from her father's mafia ring - though it was something she kept on the down low.
She finished off her drink and ordered another one. The company was enough for her to stay a bit longer. "I sure hope so. Dancing is hard work. I even come up with the choreography myself." During her first ever visit, she was fascinated with it all - from the moves to the glamorous outfits. She worked her butt off to get the job. "Do you like to dance? Or what do you like to do at the Lounge?" Other than watch her of course.
Kennedy took a sip of her new drink - the bartenders knew how to make her favorite. "Is getting drunk not cool anymore? Or does it just not taste good?" Her driver got stern with her if she came into the car drunk. Lorenzo was like a father to her and she hated it when he was disappointed in her.
"Now I see why you go by Link. I thought maybe you were good at technology or something." He snorted softly and shook his head. ”I’m alright at technology but I prefer maths.” He grinned slightly. "I sure hope so. Dancing is hard work. I even come up with the choreography myself." He smiled. ”Impressive. . you must have a good imagination.” He said, about the choreography. "Do you like to dance? Or what do you like to do at the Lounge?" He let out a laugh. ”Oh no, I have two left feet. .and this is actually the first time I’ve been here.” He said then took another sip of his beer. "Is getting drunk not cool anymore? Or does it just not taste good?" He shrugged his shoulders. ”Uh. .maybe? My friends don’t really drink so I’m not sure. .I’ve tasted better.” He grinned a little, beer wasn’t the best tasting drink.

"Math? Ew, don't tell me you are still in school?" She secretly didn't mind it, but learning really wasn't her thing. The brunette got out of it as soon as she was allowed to, glad her father had offered her a job as soon as she graduated. She flagged the bartender down, ordering herself a water and a plate of fries - she had done more working out than originally planned and needed some carbs. "No one has come up with a nickname for me yet, but I do think that's a good thing." Her family though called her Angel at home - but none of her friends knew that.
As soon as the water was delivered, she took a sip as Link spoke again. "I like to think so too, thanks. I'll have to start thinking of a Halloween one here shortly." It was over a month away, but she needed all the practice time she could get. "Ah everyone says that but with some practice I'm sure we can get that right foot back on." She was taught to be quick and agile as soon as she was old enough to help with drug running. Being caught was something no one in the industry wanted. "Really? Are your friends here for some sort of party or something?" There was usually a reason people came to the Lounge for the first time - often times for someone's birthday or bachelor party.
She gave him an odd look at the fact that his friends didn't drink. "So what do you do with your friends anyway? I'm really not much of a beer drinker either." Her dad drank it but her and her mother opted for wine or a cocktail when it came to dinner drinks.
"Math? Ew, don't tell me you are still in school?" He half panicked internally, thinking he’d blown his cover. ”Uhh well yeah I’m in college. . taking maths and business.” He said. It wasn’t a lie. . he may have only just left high school in the summer but he was starting college in the coming weeks. "No one has come up with a nickname for me yet, but I do think that's a good thing." He smiled, quite liking his own nickname. ”Oh you don’t want one then? Do you just get Kennedy all the time?” He asked. "I like to think so too, thanks. I'll have to start thinking of a Halloween one here shortly. Ah everyone says that but with some practice I'm sure we can get that right foot back on." He let out a laugh and shook his head ”Yeah I’m pretty confident I’d still have two left at the end of it.” He said. "Really? Are your friends here for some sort of party or something?" He shook his head again. ”No I’m here alone, my friend had to leave early.” He wasn’t about to tell her he’d been kicked out for being underage. "So what do you do with your friends anyway? I'm really not much of a beer drinker either." He shrugged his shoulders. ”Hang out, play video games. .” He said, not finding it weird that they didn’t really party.

Kennedy was surprised to hear that Link was in school still. It made her feel old, granted she decided not to go to College or University. Her parents both wanted her to follow in her father's footsteps. "Ew, so you like school then? Or did your parents force you?" The students she went to high school with were practically almost all done University by now. Part of her wished she would have, but the brunette was happy enough earning money.
"I mean my parents have an embarrassing name for me, but yes everyone just calls me Kennedy." She shrugged her shoulders. The younger woman hoped that everyone's parents had one for their children. Angel wasn't exactly embarrassing, but it would expose what her family truly did for work. "What nickname would you give me anyway?" Her friends didn't come up with one for her - and there weren't many shorter versions of her name anyway.
Kennedy laughed at his comment - maybe dancing wasn't for everyone. It did take her long to figure it out though. She used the Internet to teach herself and was now confident enough to do her own choreography. "Oh come on, are you really that clumsy?" She winked at him, giving him a once over with her eyes.
"Aw, you poor thing. Did your friend not enjoy the party?" Kennedy loved when the lounge was packed with people - having that many eyes on her while she danced was the best feeling ever. "Video games? What kind? Don't tell me those ones where you just shoot people."
