What was she doing? This was the most stupid thing she'd ever done. She was jeopardising everything, her entire life, for this. Was it even worth it? She didn't want to think too hard on that question, because the answer should be no. It was just sex, it shouldn't be worth anything. Whether it was good or not (obviously the former), did not matter, it didn't factor into the equation. She could find that elsewhere, but the horrifying part was she didn't want to examine that question, because she couldn't honestly say no. And that was a problem. A huge one. Okay, on the one hand, he was only a couple years her junior, he was in university, and she was only in her training years of teaching. She wasn't his teacher, it was a fluke she'd taught him in the first place and it shouldn't happen again - but it could.
Technicalities. If she was caught she'd at least be fired, probably lose out on any possibility of finishing her degree and becoming a fully fledged professor. She was jeoparadising everything. And yet... She looked down at the innocent boyish face of the young man in her bed and sighed quietly. He looked so sweet when he slept - probably because his big mouth was shut and he couldn't talk his way into trouble. She carefully lay back against the pillows, her soft smile falling as she tucked an arm over him for comfort. She was screwed really, either way. Damn Jackson.
Jackson stirred in his sleep at the movement next to him. He'd never been a morning person. During his whole school life his mum and dad had had the pleasure of dragging his ass out of bed every day. He'd lost count of how many times a glass of water had been poured over his head...sometimes even twice in one morning when he'd been hungover. Although as soon as high school was finished, they'd left him to his own devices, said if he really wanted to go to college and get a degree then he would make the effort. Tough love but it was needed. The first few weeks had been hard, he'd always end up snoozing his alarm and turn up late. Once his professors started locking him out of his lessons, he finally bucked up his ideas and started turning up on time. Made sure his alarm was on the other side of his bedroom so he had no choice but to get up. He just turned up to class occasionally hungover and possibly still drunk. But hey at least he was there.
He woke up properly when Jade put her arm over him but kept his eyes closed. He lifted a hand to rest over Jades, enjoying being the little spoon for a moment. He didn't mind waking up early when he was with her. If it meant spending more time with her, he'd quite happily become a morning person. He knew he shouldn't of been in her flat let alone in her bed cause of the whole student teacher thing but he just couldn't keep away. After their fight in the classroom he thought he'd blown it but he some how managed to convince her to give his stupid ass another chance. Jack opened his eyes and rolled over to face Jade with a smile. "morning. ."

She felt him stir beneath her arm, and she hid a smile against his back, tucking her chin down to cuddle into him. It was nice being big spoon once in a while, and she wasn't ready to get him yet. She felt his hand rest onto of hers and relaxed further, sinking into her pillows. She wasn't working until this afternoon, where she'd be sitting in on a professors class to make notes. This morning was free, and she intended to make the most of it. She didn't sleep in very often anymore, but it didn't mean she had to leave her bedroom. Pastries for breakfast sounded good though, if only they did home deliveries - she didn't want to get dressed and go out into the cold just yet.
Jade felt the change in Jack as he woke up properly, rolling over to face her. She moved her arm so that he could move, and then cuddled into him again, not wanting to face the cold outside the duvet. "morning. ." She smiled softly and kissed him gently, way past caring about morning breath these days. "Good morning, sleep well?"
Jack smiled into the kiss and wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close when she cuddled into him. "morning beautiful. . like a baby, you?" He asked. He always slept well when he was at her place. Must have been the cuddling. Plus there was no crying baby, bonus. He loved his littlest sister but when she cried, god was she loud. Even though he slept like the dead, if there was noise when he was trying to fall asleep, it took him a while to drop off. He took a quick glance at his watch to check the time, good he had a few hours before he had to leave for college. He only had one class today since one of his professors was off sick but he had the joy of slaving away at work afterwards. A wonderful few hours of stinking of coffee. He pulled away from her reluctantly to have a stretch. "Fancy breakfast from Hazel's?" He asked, feeling his stomach rumble.

She felt him smile against her lips, and she couldn't help but respond with one of her own, snuggling into his warmth and trying to forget the world outside of the pile of blankets and pillows. "morning beautiful. . like a baby, you?" She stretched a little, enjoying the way her muscles pulled then loosened, sinking into the soft mattress. "Mmm slept like the dead," She agreed, feeling somewhat refreshed for the good nights sleep. She wasn't sure if he had to work or get to class this morning or if they had free time, but she assumed they had at least a few hours when he suggested, "Fancy breakfast from Hazel's?" Jade laughed when his stomach rumbled, and she nodded, reluctantly releasing him from her hold. "Definitely breakfast," She agreed, going to sit up and stretch properly.
jack smirked slightly, she'd slept like the dead alright, every time he'd tossed over, she had still been in the same position. if he hadn't seen the rise and fall of her chest he may have been concerned - clearly she wasn't a restless sleeper like he was. typically at home he would have been star-fished on his bed or snuggled up with about three pillows. he smiled when she agreed to breakfast, he was starving and didn't feel like cooking. he slipped into the bathroom before her for a quick shower, opting not to invite her due to the fact they would probably end up back in bed together - not that he wouldn't have loved anything more, but he was a complete crank when he was hangry and he didn't want to spoil their reconciliation. he didn't want to keep jade waiting to get ready so he kept the shower short. he cleaned his teeth before stepping out of the bathroom into a patch of morning sunlight. the last few remaining water droplets glistened on his torso as he adjusted the dangerously low hanging towel around his waist. "bathrooms free." jackson glanced in the mirror to fix his tousled wet hair and couldn't help but check himself out. old habits die hard.

She yawned and reluctantly let him go as he slipped out from beneath the covers, stretching out across the entirety of the bed once he'd vacated it. She heard the shower running and contemplated going in to join him - it would save water and time if they showered together, but she knew they would end up doing more than showering and then that would not be saving time. Still tempting... but her stomach growled loudly and she sighed - food first. Sitting up, she pushed her long hair back from her face and glanced at the wardrobe, wondering if she should forgoe the shower - but she felt a little sticky from cuddling with Jack whilst she slept and it would help her feel refreshed, she knew that.
"bathrooms free." Well she figured she may as well use it. Getting out of bed, she scurried past him, unable to stop herself appreciating his half naked-ness - it was right there. She pressed her lips together and paused so she could skate her fingers along his abs - damn it - but then she forced herself to keep walking and hopped in the shower. She didn't take long either - just enough to wash her hair, brushing it in the shower and leaving it down to dry, she wrapped her towel around herself and stepped back into the room, grabbing some clothes from her wardrobe; a warm jumper and a pair of jeans. "I wish they delivered."
jack shivered slightly when she ran her fingers across his torso, the motion tickling him. while jade was in the shower, he borrowed some deodorant before throwing on the clothes from the previous evening, nothing fancy just blue jeans and a grey hoodie. grabbing the towel from the floor, he ran it through his hair then tossed it into the washing hamper in the corner. he may have been a bit of a slob at home but he knew jade would have his ass if he left a damp towel on her carpet. he looked up when jade came out of the bathroom, grinning softly "I know. .I mean we could deliver from somewhere else but hazel's croissants are just" he mimicked a chef's kiss then reached for his belongings from the side table. "shall we walk? doesn't seem that cold out"

She caught Jack's grin and tried to ignore the swooping in her stomach, and failed. She'd never felt this before, this all consuming, confusing mix of heat and sweetness - passion and affection. She'd never had so much fire with someone, Jack was flirty and charming and sexy and she couldn't get enough of him... but he was also sweet and caring and he looked after her, and it caught her by surprise, and she knew this sweet feeling was something way beyond sexual attraction; it was terrifying. She finishing getting dressed and applied a little make-up; not much as they were just heading out for breakfast, but she wanted to make some kind of effort, this felt a little like some kind of breakfast date.
"I know. .I mean we could deliver from somewhere else but hazel's croissants are just" She laughed at his gesture and nodded, he was right - Hazel's was made fresh every day and by a local, there was something she put in the baking that just made it that much better than mass produced. "shall we walk? doesn't seem that cold out" Jade nodded, glancing out the window to check the weather before she agreed. "Sure," She grabbed a coat from the hook on the back of her door and pulled it on. "Ready to go? I'm starving!" She grinned, rising onto her tip toes to kiss his nose. She knew they would need to be careful once they left the safety and privacy of her flat, which sucked - time to soak up all the affection now whilst she could.
He watched her get ready with a dopey look on his face. He could sit there and watch her all day. She was beautiful. He was head over heels for the girl and he was pretty sure he was in love but he wouldn’t admit that. After all they’d only been seeing each other for a few months and he didn’t want to come across as too forward. He picked up his coat off the bed and slipped his arms through, a grin spreading on his lips when she said she was hungry. ”well we did work up an appetite last night. .” he teased. He took hold of her head as she kissed his nose and pulled her back, kissing her properly, knowing they probably wouldn’t get much of chance to when they left their perfect bubble. ”okay now I’m ready.” he grinned and stepped out of the flat, waiting for her to lock the door before heading towards the town centre.

”well we did work up an appetite last night. .” Heat curled in Jade's stomach as he reminded her of their evening, and her expression darkened slightly. "Shame we don't have time this morning," She wasn't exactly old but in comparison to the older guys she'd dated, Jack had a hell of a load more energy and stamina - it was partly him but she was pretty sure his age came into play a fair bit too. She felt him pull her back when she kissed him, melting against him for a moment as she put her feelings into the kiss. Damn it that they had to leave right then.
”okay now I’m ready.” She felt flushed as she pulled back and stepped out of their bubble into the real world, locking the door behind them. "I don't think I am." She teased, slipping her hand into his as they headed to the elevator and down to the ground floor. It was risky every time they stepped out the flat, and she knew she was playing with her life just by holding his hand, but she didn't want to walk down the street like a stranger. It was unlikely they'd run into someone but not impossible, she felt like she couldn't relax, but being with Jack would lull her into that false sense of security.
He looked at her with a cheeky grin ”well there’s always later. .” He pulled out a pair of sunglasses from his jacket pocket and put them on. If anybody got up close enough they’d recognise him but at least from far away, they might just look like a normal couple walking down the street. He took hold of her hand, bringing the back of her hand to his lips to kiss it as they got into the elevator. It was fairly early for a Sunday morning and the street was pretty quiet. Either people were still hungover in bed or were having a lazy morning. Once they got to the bakery, he gave jade’s hand a squeeze before releasing it and opening the door for her. Moving inside, he was hit with a multitude of mouth-watering smells. His stomach rumbled softly as he stepped up to the glass, looking at the different options. If he could, he’d probably buy one of everything, eat it all and regret it later when he felt sick. ”it all looks amazing. .what do you fancy?” he pulled out his phone then looked over at jade.

”well there’s always later. .” She laughed and gave his sleeve a gentle tug, but she knew they would probably be falling into bed together again this evening; she just couldn't get enough of him, and she tried not to think about it too hard. She peered up at the blue skies and smiled softly as the warmth of the sun touched her face, reveling in the heat. She couldn't wait until Summer - it had been too long since long summer days. She linked her fingers through Jack's and ducked her chin slightly as he kissed her hand, enjoying the simplicity of dating - Jack could be surprisingly sweet when he wanted to be.
She entered the bakery before him, hit with the scent of freshly baked goods, she licked her lips. Damn she was hungry, her eyes were drawn to the lit up glass counter, displaying the many tasty options. ”it all looks amazing. .what do you fancy?” She shook her head in wonder, still deliberating between about five different options. "All of it?" She joked but then pointed towards one of the pastries, "Pain au chocolat?" She asked, they looked glorious, and she could already taste the melted chocoalte.
Jack probably would have pressed his face up against the glass like he used to do as a child but he figured he'd get a few weird looks from the few people that were already sat in the bakery. A grin spread across his lips when Jayden said she wanted all of it, he didn't blame her, he was still struggling to choose something. His eyes were always bigger than his belly. When she pointed out one of the pastries he nodded and stepped up to the counter to order. "Two coffees, two pain au chocolat, one iced danish and a round of toast please." He gave the order then tapped his phone to the contactless card machine when the cashier rung it up. He moved to the side away from the order point in case anyone else came through the door.

She grinned back at him, a cheeky glint to her eyes, she couldn't help but want all of it - even worse that she was hungry - she wondered what would happen to her once the cravings hit. That was a terrifying thought and she wasn't sure she was ready to face it, but she knew that some people wanted weird things when they were pregnant. She stepped up beside him as he ordered, letting him take point and wondering what'd he'd chosen. "Two coffees, two pain au chocolat, one iced danish and a round of toast please." She grinned, good choice, and went to get her phone out to pay but he beat her to it. "Jack, you should have let me," She protested, it was sweet of him, but she was the one with the full paying job, she didn't want him to think he needed to splash cash; it wasn't much, sure, but it would add up eventually. God knew what would happen when the baby arrived. "But thank you," her smile softened as she looked up at him.
