Welcome to Hickstead, home to both Seven Oak Stables, and Blue Acre - two rival stables. Both offer opportunities for their clients to reach the highest level of excellence. Each stable differs from the other, so choose wisely and never forget, loyalty is everything... Meanwhile as the stables battle it out, there's trouble brewing at the university. Be careful, if you don't pick a side you may get caught in the cross-fire...

Come chat to us in Discord before joining if you like!.
So for months I've been promising myself a shred of my excess fat and to really get back into shape. Which just hasn't happened. 'This is my last chocolate bar' has become my favourite excuse which is lame...so I figure maybe its time to get some support in this. People seemed keen in the cbox yesterday so I thought...let's make a thread for everyone to feel motivated! Going to the gym alone can suck sometimes but not if you've got support!
So feel free to post anything that will help you or others feel motivated!! Quotes, pictures and stories...healthy recipes for meals, meal plans, fitness tips or workouts...all of it! Hell feel free to post your own progress, it helps seeing how far you've come I will be updating daily, I need it, so help me!!
this is an ab workout I do 3/4 times a week, don't know if it actually does anything but my abs kill afterwards so xD www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVmjhNmvEwo There's probably better ones out there since this one is from like the eighties or something haha but I like it.
Haha love it Peps Adding to the Youtube collection, I really like XHIT Daily for their workouts. They do pretty much everything from HITT workouts, to butts, thighs and abs. I mostly use them for their abs, because I always still hurt the next day!
i'll be sure to check those out more! they look awesome i'll be trying this program to start working on my cardio and thought i'd share it with you guys. link
There's an app similar to that called 'Couch-2-5k.' It's great because it tells you when to start running and when to walk, and I think you can add a playlist.
Another fun phone app to try is 'Zombies! Run!' There's a story mode that gives you little installments at a time and then puts your playlist on in between. It tells you when zombies are nearby and you have to run for a while until it tells you when you've evaded them. It also rewards you with supplies the longer you walk/run and you can use these supplies after you're back home to build up a camp in the game.
Haha the Zombie one sounds right up my alley! Annoyingly I have a windows phone though so I cant get a lot of normal apps...but maybe I have space on my Ipod to give it a try!!
So glad, I can finally work on my back again after my rib problems. Over a month off but can still do 10 reps of 45kg on the pull-downs #prpud
I've been on a weight loss journey for six weeks now by doing a product called Optifast (meal replacement shakes). The biggest thing about it, is that it talks about ketosis, which kicks in when you remove carbs from your diet and allows you to burn fat faster (there's more to it than that, but that's basically it).
Moving from that though, I (try to) go walking every day, 3.5 km one day and 5km the next. I use an app on my phone called Run Keeper, which not only tracks my walk, but tracks the pace I'm walking at (mins per km), as well as the calories I'm burning, and I can listen to my playlist on spotify while I'm walking and the app talks over the top of that every five minutes to let me know how long I've been walking for, the pace I'm walking at. I'm working towards adding some jogging in, but I destroyed my knees from falling off horses, so the jogging will wait a while.
When I can't go for a walk because it's pouring with rain, I like to use the workouts found on Sara Fit. If I was on the other laptop, I'd link you right to my favourite workout, but I'm not so that will have to wait. She also has recipes and other interesting things on her site.
