He is not lazy, just conservative with his energy is all. He's very social and loveable, a gentleman through and through. And whilst he can be a little bit picky with his food, that's all the bad that could be said about him. He's gentle as a lamb and so easy going that even a beginner could ride him no troubles at all. the history owner • KEGAN LAINEY DIESEL father • Unknown mother • Unknown siblings • Unknown overall history • Amarillo was born on a working stud on the border of Mexico, and was everything the owners could've wished for. Growing up, he was let age out and wean at his own pace, and wasn't over worked in the beginning, allowing for him to be a horse. His breaking in was smooth and painless, taking to it like a duck to water, and the majority of his training was spent with an old Spaniard called Eneko Carranza who took great pains to make sure Amarillo was unphased by all that came his way. The pair worked splendidly, with the young stud picking up on the old man's native tongue just as much as the English other riders did speak. Eneko was very much pleased to keep working with the horse, finding him to very natural at cutting cattle, but he had a quick turn of speed and turned smoothly on next to nothing, so after a few attempts, barrel racing became part of his routine with the old man. By the age of six, Eneko bought Amarillo from the stud and with a lot of effort moved themselves both over to England. Eneko planned on keeping the young stud for work on smaller farms, however with a sudden rise in sickness it was put off. Unfortunately Eneko suffered a heart attack, though not fatal, threw his plans into shambles just as Amarillo hit seven years of age. Knowing he was in no position to keep a horse such as Amarillo, no wishing to waste his talents nor his time wasting in a pasture, Eneko sought out a new home for his equine companion. And that was when Amarillo met Kegan. Whilst Amarillo was not yet to know it, but his time with Eneko was at its end, but this new face - warm and happy and no less a perky individual in the young stud's mind, was welcome. She was very much a horse person, and the fact she spoke some of Eneko's tongue further lightened his mood. He worked well with this new rider, and so he was sold. Of course, parting from Eneko was hard - Amarillo knew something wasn't quite right with the world, that something was hurting his friend but he could not dwell too long on it, as once the old man said his final good-byes, he was loaded into the trailer. His first few days in his new home were sad, his behaviour clear he was pining for a lost friend, and his calls went unanswered by the old man. His routine shifted, but with Kegan keeping him busy, his low mood was carefully worked through and now his head is clear again. *Additional Notes: - Is vocal first thing in the morning, effectively his version of 'good morning' to whomever approaches. - Does show visible depression/pining behaviours when his 'person(s)' don't show up.] - Can be dramatic af when he wants to be, though its rare. the role player alias • ForeignBlackJack, Blackjack, Jac age • Crude other characters • 66 and counting... |
