Cloud had no complaints. Well, that could've been a little too nice - this was a strange place, it was not his box, the horses were strange and new and frankly, the bedding was not what he was used to at all! But even still, he put up with it because he knew putting up a fuss would displease people who gave him the things he liked. Even so, the odd disapproving snort was all he gave as he idly stood by and pulled hay from the feeder.
He was still adjusting, learning the smells and sounds and faces as they walked on by. He knew none of them, but he was not unkind or unwilling when someone was prepared to give him attention. He liked the attention and people had snuck him the odd treat which he wasn't about to turn his nose up to. Though he was itching to go out and do something, he didn't mind what. A good time on the pasture wasn't too much to wish for right? Or even a good old ride somewhere, he didn't mind or care much.
Poking his head out of his box, he watched people come and go.

the history
owner • PORTER BAINE GRIFFITHS father • Unknown mother • Unknown siblings • Likely Many overall history • Cloud was an accidental breeding that resulted in a lot of fun and benefit the small riding school that had him. He was a good education tool as well as a way of introducing people to the manner of which to raise a foal correctly.
He was lightly handled at the age of three and broken in at four, allowed to mature over that time and get his head around each new task as it was brought to him. With a lot of time and teaching, Cloud became one of the stable favourites in the school for any and all. Nothing truly worried him, and new tasks - whilst a little wary - were easily navigated with gentle coaxing and praise.
He was taken out to a lot of shows, mostly for student experience and his own. From small games to trail rides, going through the motions of dressage, jumping and cross country, it was safe to say that Cloud was a classic all-rounder. His training was vast and his experiences many - bareback, packing, carriage work, trails, working equitation, simple tricks, public road rides - all solidified by his calm and willing nature.
His one spook however came about whilst being ridden on the road age eight, when they passed by a home that was having some form of party to which Cloud ignored - loud music and screaming kids were nothing he hadn't heard in the stable before - but several balloons were popped and that frightened him. He jumped forward into another horse and staggered onto his knees before righting himself and taking off at a startled canter before his rider could regain control several blocks over.
He wasn't seriously hurt - just some mild scrapes that healed quickly and well - but efforts to break the spook were only met with fear and no success, so it was noted that that was what frightened him the most. His stable however fell on hard times, and had to sell up to make ends meet. Cloud was the very last to go, be far-welled by his owners and the students that loved him very much, before going home with Porter.
