Bambi Pelner had needed this party. She needed this party to remind herself that she belonged, that these were her real friends, and that they adored her as much as she adored them. Nevermind the group of them were scattered throughout the crux of Shiloh's kingdom. The past few months had been rough, people kept on shaming her for who she hung out with and honestly, it had really begun to get under her skin. Bambi had even begun to question why she was hanging out with certain people, why she had toss other people to the side like years long friendship hadn't mattered. But now she remembered - this party reminded her, setting it up had reminded her, hanging out and laughing with Shiloh, Alisha, and Theia had reminded her just how close she was to achieving greatness.
Just like that, Bambi Pelner lapped up the kool aid and back to her old ways, couriering favor to the rise and fall of her life. For now though, the young woman was really enjoying her wine. Walking around and dancing with a party glass big enough to hold a whole bottle. The thrill, or perhaps it was the alcohol, pounding through her and Bambi forgot all of her worries as she laughed with people, danced, and drank. Out of the corner of her eyes, she caught something. Sharply, she turned her head, but what she thought were the faces of Aria Martin and Perry Whitlock were lost in the crowd. Bambi frowned, "No way they would be here..." The young woman concluded she was imagining it, yet something in the back of her nagging brain told her that perhaps she should lay off the wine for a bit, just in case.

Bambi Pelner couldn't believe she was stuck in Hickstead for Spring Break. Honestly, it was kind of annoying. How was it that spring break was only a week? It wasn't worth a flight home to the United States, she would barely have five days not spent in the airports - plus, jetlag? Ew, no. But that also meant that the young woman was in town, just twiddling her thumbs. Bambi didn't know what to do with herself, the tea shop closed up for spring break simply because the Ledor-Kita's were going on 'vacation'. Nobody was responding to Bambi's texts to hang out, which left her nothing.
A dramatic sigh escaped her as she spun in her hair, looking at the time on the wall. Well, she supposed there was one place that she could go. With that in mind, Bambi got dressed - shedding her athelesuire for something with a bit more style before retouching her make up. Once deciding that her body and looks could kill a boy or a girl on the spot, she grabbed her purse and headed out. There was always one way to kill boredom, and that was at R&R - no doubt there had to be some sort of spring break specials going on at the bar.
The young woman waltzed on in, the place was packed which mean that Bambi remained undecided if that was considered annoying or not yet. She did make a bee-line for the bar though, and beamed a grin when she saw who was behind the counter, "Tristian Parker! How is my favorite bartender tonight?" She asked gleefully before shrugging, "I was bored. The night is young. Hit me with your best glass of red wine." Oh yeah, Bambi Pelner was feeling classy.

It was curious to see the drinks that Hunter had brought back, she arched an eyebrow but a smile was there, "Maragritas, huh? Can't say I was expecting that," Bambi commented as she gingerly took the glass from him. Brown eyes noticed the rim, the sugar a different color from the standard. My, this would be an interesting drink. She smiled, holding up the glasses and did her best Leo DiCaprio Gatsby impression, "Cheers, indeed," before talking a sip. Well, the mix of fruit and spice blast from the tajin was interesting, but interesting in a good sort of way, "Tajin?" Bambi inquired now, "I feel like there's a story there."
She listened to him chuckle - it was hearty, warm, god, it could make a girl melt, but she wasn't about to let that on. Bambi smiled, "Can't say I can argue with that. It's a great business model," the young woman glanced around, "Heck, they got half of my money already and I'm not even tipsy. You have quite the business mind though to crack that formula." Well, perhaps anyone could have figured that out, but Bambi didn't mind giving out a good ego padding just to see where the conversation goes. She was far too intrigued to merely toss him aside, plus, he bought her a drink, "Ah! I'm taking a summer class for fun. Plus, I wanted to keep my part time job. Figured it'd be a fun change of pace to stay here over returning to America for the summer. Based off of your company already though, I think I made the right choice."

Watching Ivey close her eyes and take a deep breathe, the young woman knew she had accidently struck a nerve. It truthfully had not been intentional, but just like her conversations with Piper Ledor-Kita, it felt as if no matter what Bambi said or did, she would be annoying the blonde girl before her. What happened next felt like a whirlwind as her former best friend stood up abruptly with such force, it was shocking the chair didn't topple over. Chocolate brown eyes simply watched her move around now and disappear, feeling a little weary until Ivey reshowed up with a hot, blonde man who was giving her a dirty look. Unperturbed, Bambi merely glowered right back at him.
She might have said something it if it wasn't for a surprisingly firm grip around her arm now. Bambi startled, "Hey! What the-" but she could barely get any words in before Ivey was hauling her out of the office, down the ramp, and out to the parking lot where it was cold. The young woman could feel her face flush, a burning sensation creeping over her cheeks - praying to the gods it was because of the bitter, Hickstead cold in combination with the sea salt air and wind chill verses the proximity of her former best friend. They came to a stop, where Bambi nearly collided into her before Ivey whipped around to bite into her: “I’m leaving, because of you.”
Well, that was a bit unexpected, "Excuse me?" The young woman was baffled, quite uncertain of what she was hearing. Surely, this was not what Piper had meant in the tea shop when she said that Ivey was transferring schools. Bambi felt perplexed and utterly dumbfounded, already feeling her defenses going up, "But I haven't done anything to you!" Granted, she hadn't exactly done anything to stop the accusations either - she knew well enough what Shiloh and some of the others have said, and she had certainly been there for the looks and the cruel laughter. Bambi hadn't done shit, but that didn't mean she had a clean slate either. But apparently that wasn't all of it: “I have a lot of new friends, but constantly seeing you around – is fucking me up, Bambi. Do I wish we were still able to talk to each other? Yes! I want to talk to you so bad, Bambi!” And then that biting lip, "The stress is making me sick.”
This was not how Bambi had imagined her day going - maybe she should have realized it had been in the cards though. Her conversations with Piper. Shiloh telling her to go to the Marina. There were probably countless other signs that Bambi had ignored - all leading to this. Those words were a lot to take in, all this time, the young woman had merely thought the blonde had been fine - she certainly had acted like she didn't need Bambi anymore. Could she had been so wrong though? Well, clearly she had. And yet, Bambi was annoyed that she was being portrayed as the villain, "Well, I miss talking to you too! Being with you...What happened, Ivey? I thought it was suppose to be you and I taking on Hickstead, together. Just like middle school and high school. Bam Bam and Ev-Vee against the world. I don't get what changed."
Bambi really didn't think she was any different than she had been back then. Was it really just Shiloh and her Crew? Was the Clique really that horrendous? The young woman crossed her arms now, acting defiant even though her eyes burned a little now, and Bambi rapidly blinked away the tears, "Do I really make you that sick? That you can't even possibly handle being on the same campus at me?"

She saw that look in his eyes - the look that said her new acquaintance wanted to say something about her name. Sometimes, Bambi felt like it was a curse to have her name, so easily attached to a Disney deer or a stripper name, it was always ripe for someone's unnecessary comments. However, it looked like the young man here thought better of such a ploy and instead poked fun of her lack of skill. A laugh escaped her when he joked about her work pay instead, and Bambi merely smiled, "Well, I have a hard time quitting something when I just want to conquer it." And yes, she knew exactly what she had said.
And now, she had a name to the face, "Pleasure to meet you, Hunter," Bambi response now, "And I never say no to a gentleman's offer to buy me a drink." Well, maybe he was more Tramp than Gentleman, but semantics. She nodded towards the bar, and began to walk over. When she got to the bar, she merely nodded to Hunter's drink and informed the bar tender that she would just have what he was drinking. While waiting, Bambi turned her attention back to the young man, brown eyes really studying him now as she casually leaned against the barn, "So, I take it you frequent this establishment quite often if you have skills to flex for university girls?"

Bambi was a little peeved with herself for allowing the young man's comment get the best of her - he knew that he had gotten to her. Even while violently stabbing her chicken, she had caught that stupid Deimos Salvadore smirk at the corner of his lips. It made her even more angry, and made her stab at her food just a tiny bit more. Bambi knew she should be used to it by now, the inner circle was full of jerks and bitches, almost none of them were kind - if any. Yet, she endured. It made her think about what Ivey and Piper's words for a split second, but then she just brushed it off.
His next words were hardly surprising to her though: "You can drop that fake sugar sweet bullshit with me, love. It's childish." Well, that was fast. He was really in a mood then. Bambi swore that Dei seemed to PMS more than a girl, and he was twice as moody, "Oh? Well if you have complaints, then maybe you should talk to Shiloh about how I'm rotting your teeth." She probably shouldn't have said it, he could probably be a big enough bitch to go complain to the Queen Bee about her in order for Bambi to be cowed about her attitude. For now though, she didn't care. Her alliances always ran deeper with the girls than the boys.
Brown eyes watched how he rolled his eyes at her inqurey, as if it were the dumbest thing in the world. God forbid she care...or pretend to care at least. His response to her merely made her cock her head inquisitively, "Oh? But that's not what I hear." Bambi supposed she heard all sorts of things though, like a web of whispers and secrets, "If not Alisha, then why are you moody? Just that time of the month?"

Hearing her former best friend scoff at her was a little bit rattling to Bambi Pelner. It had been such a simple action on Ivey's part, and yet, it might as well been a brick to the face or a knife to the heart. The young woman supposed she might have deserved that though, it's not as if she had been best friend of the year since they moved to Hickstead together - their brilliant high school dreams shattered. It was annoying that Ivey could see right through her though given that it had been true, interrogating her had not been the reason. She folded her arms, either in defiance or uncomfortableness, Bambi wasn't sure, but the motion felt like armor anyway, "It's not, but it doesn't matter now."
That party boat could go on hold, and so could tracking down Perry Whitlock to flirt with. Either of those two things or situations seemed to matter now to Bambi, only the girl in front of her. It felt like destiny that Piper Kita-Ledor dropped that bomb on her just a few days ago and now she was here, facing down that very bomb. Chocolate brown eyes watched the other girl, looking so cool and poised as she leaned back in the stool with impeccable balance and grace. Watching her, Bambi felt both jealousy and heartache, that stupid yearning that never seemed to go away even with a bottle of red wine and an empty stomach.
She watched as those legs came down, and then came the cutting words: “I’ll counter you with this. Why do you even care? I mean.. wouldn't your school life be better anyway?” Bambi could feel herself bristle at being put on the spot. Normally the spotlight was something she loved and flourished in, but not in this situation it. It felt like Ivey was putting her on trial. Maybe it was fair, maybe she deserved it, "Why do I care?" Bambi had never been so tempted to dance around a subject before, "Because..." Her chocolate brown eyes looked away, trying to find the words. Because you were my ride and die. Because I would have done anything for you. Because you were and, maybe still are, my soulmate. And yet, none of those thoughts came tumbling out, "Because I just do."
Gods, that was so lame of her, "Look I admit...I haven't been the greatest friend. I thought we had this whole plan together and then you just...went a different way. But that doesn't mean..." again, words were lost on Bambi. Frustration cracked into her features now, the ones that she always tried so hard to keep perfect and poised, "Whatever. It doesn't matter. You're dodging my question."

It had been odd remaining in Hickstead for the summer when there was no school in session, but Bambi Pelner told herself that it was nice to hangout in the seaside town without any distractions such as school. Her parents had been disappointed, but relented when Bambi offered a well thought out explanation as to how this would benefit her. She could score an internship, she could keep her job at the Tea Shop, and she had plenty of friends to support her if she got lonely. Neverminded that a big reason as to why the young woman didn't want to come home was risk of running into former best friend Ivey Kinsley whom returned to their old stomping grounds for the summer.
That was still a situation that bothered Bambi, knowing that the girl she came to Hickstead was transferring. All of those years of friendship since fifth grade just chucked out the window, and she refused to believe that she had been at fault. Somewhere in the back of her mind, the young woman couldn't help but to wonder if Ivey and her pleathora of nerdy friends had been right - that she had been the monster once she joined Shiloh's clique. But that can't be right. It's not her fault that she was an Alpha and desired popularity, was it?
Either way, all of these mind games were certainly affecting what pin ball skill she remotely had at this cute by dingy dive bar. The ball made it past her again, and an angry groan escaped Bambi as she stood up and threw her hands up in anger, effectively killing her earlier attempt at a Megan Fox pose over the pinball machine, "This is stupid," Bambi muttered to herself. It would appear that her dramatic flare did not go unnoticed either as next to her, a voice popped up: “How long have you been battling it?” Brown eyes looked to the voice, startled to see a guy there, holding a bear, and looking like he might have walked out of a 90's grunge music video.
Despite his lack of fashion, he was still cute and that smile didn't hide it. Bambi, for once, offered a genuinely embarrassed smile, "Twenty minutes. Maybe I need to get a drink to improve my game," or better yet, she side stepped, offering him room at the pinball machine and into her domain, "Or better yet, want to show me the ropes? I'm Bambi."

Somebody could probably stab through the tension in the office with a knife and still have plenty left over. Chocolate brown eyes couldn't help but to flicker to Ivey's phone, catching the end of some conversation to her mom and a flash of a background picture that she didn't recognize before the phone went black. It was weird, Bambi remembered a time when that phone's background rotated through selfies of the two of them month after month. Now it was something she didn't even recognize. The time it took for Ivey Kingsley to look up from her phone felt like it was taking forever, so much that Bambi almost wanted to reach across the desk and just shake her.
But as soon as those blue green eyes looked up to meet her gaze, Bambi felt like she had been better off when her ex-best friend had just been looking at her phone: "Hello, welcome to the bait shop. What can I do to help you?” Bambi's brow furrowed, heat rising to her face. That was a look she knew all too well, yet never before had she been on the receiving end of it. That was the look that had been reserved for the peons of Greenwich Middle and High School, not for her. And just like that, Bambi forgot all about Shiloh's (or was it one of the other girls?) request for a fucking party yacht. The young woman straight, bristling almost as she folded her arms over her chest. Invisible armor up and ready for poise, "Piper says you're leaving. Why?" Because she certainly didn't buy that bullshit over a better program.

Bambi did her best to not make a face when fucking Deimos Salvadore left loose a sigh after she announced her presence. Out of the top dogs, he had always been the worst at trying to crack and most of the time - seemed impervious to her whims - which also annoyed the fuck out of Bambi. But she couldn't give him crap like Shiloh or Alisha or Heather, no, the young woman was stuck being as polite. After all, at the end of the day, he outranked her in this little clique of hers and she had to abide by those rules. Refusing to be denied attention though, especially during lunch at their table and so she pushed her luck along to inquire about his day when he refused to acknowledge her beyond that rude sigh.
Chocolate brown eyes watched him keenly while spearing a piece of grilled chicken, waiting for her acknowledgement. After what felt like eons, Dei opened one eye and gave a side look before the other opened as well. So, he decided he couldn't ignore her after all, "Shame I can't be glad for the company," he digged now, "Shouldn't you be busy doing your usual minion shit?" Her next piece of chicken was speared a little more violently as she stared at him, trying to keep her face in check. Sometimes, Dei felt more moody to her than a girl who was PSMing on a full mood, "Now now," Bambi started now, her playful purr still dancing along, "Even you know that I'm not considered a minion and quite frankly, I never was. I'm too good for that shit." And that was the truth, unfortunately, she was willing to bet the young man didn't give a fuck about the that truth.
Still, something was up. Unfortunately, she wasn't exactly privy to that of Dei Salvadore's life. As cheeky as he was, he was also manipulative and liked people to stay out of his business unless it involved hard partying or sex. Bambi cocked her head now, staring at him, mulling over what could be the problem. As far as she knew, he wasn't in a relationship, if he was, that was under lock and key to the likes of her. Bambi knew she could try and pry, but it was hard to do so without being utterly obvious about it. But she had the time to play, and there was nothing else better to do, "What's with you? Did Alisha tell you she's exclusive with Tripp now or something?"

One nice thing about growing up in New England, despite all the old money and houses that came with it, was that it was unbearably cold. It had fringed temperatures thanks to its upper northeast location and managed to have bodies of water to surround it. While you still had to travel up to Vermont to ski, growing up in that cold weather became a life skill and it also meant that one could dress however they want because the cold was just that - cold, but not life threatening. That skill had transferred over from the United States to the United Kingdom quite well. So well, in fact, that when Bambi traveled from one of the class halls to the cafeteria, she didn't even bat an eye or a shiver when she was in shorts like a lunatic.
Lunch was always Bambi's favorite part of the day, unless it was a weekend, then it was the parties. But lunch came with that special table - the Royal Court table, where she could preen with the best of them over the lives of others. It was when all of the clique sat together, and it felt like there were no inner circles or outer circles. Everyone was on even ground - well, minus the minions of course, but they still sat with them, and that was what mattered. And even though all of their class schedules flexed across the board, someone could always be counted to be at that table for company. And, as far as the young woman knew, there was nothing on the docket for the day which meant it would just be gossip verses the plans to ruin people's lives.
Sometimes, Bambi was fine with it all. The games, the manipulation, the calculations. Sometimes she wasn't, but then she had to remind herself that if she wanted to remain in the big leagues and break that invisible barrier between her, Shiloh, Alisha, and Heather, she had to do it. There wasn't a day she didn't count her blessings that she had been confidant material the second she stepped onto campus, she hadn't had to slug it around with the desperate losers. Perhaps she cheated her way to the top in some way, but even as the thought crossed her, Bambi knew she still wasn't on the top. Those girls still kept her at an arm's length, like they didn't fully trust her, like she was still a threat even after a year. Secretly, Bambi enjoyed that - she liked being a threat, but she'd never say it out loud. That was her secret to keep.
Making her way to the table, she caught sight that one of her many 'at arms length' friends where there. She couldn't help but to beam a smile, that flirty playful smile that was used on everyone like a shield, "Glad to see I am not alone today for lunch," she purred as she placed her tray down and slid into her chair, "What's shakin'?"

Bambi hated to admit it, she was feeling a little nervous. It was not something that she felt often, and the young woman had gotten very good at detaching from her emotions when it came down to it. But the second that she had been assigned to go down to the docks to ask about the availability of party boats and how well heated they could be, well, Bambi wanted to die. It wasn't because the docks felt rickety and creaky, it wasn't the smell of the ocean or the salty breeze, and all in all, it wasn't because of the people because quite frankly, a majority of them were fucking hot and she could watch them all day. But there was one person, okay maybe two since Aria Martin worked there now, that she feared running into: Ivey Kinsley.
Her beloved 'K'. The Tam Tam to her Bam Bam. Her Ee-Vee. But the girl was none of those things any more. She was nothing to Bambi, or so that was what Bambi kept on insisting. Ivey was nothing to her. She was weird. She was a nerd, she could have had it all and decided to throw it all away like it was nothing. She hung out with the likes of Wynnie Moriarty and possibly Aria fucking Beck Martin now. Every time Ivey Kinsley was brought up, by Flora, by Shiloh, by Alisha, it didn't matter to, Bambi denied association. They were not friends. And they weren't, right? But it hurt all the same. There was an ugly, gapping hole that lingered in her heart that she always attempted to dose with alcohol and set fire to. The young woman always tried to burn Ivey Kinsley out and she couldn't.
And now, she was in an uber going to her, quite possibly. A sigh escaped her as she wistfully looked out the window. Bambi didn't understand what went wrong, why her best friend drifted away just like that. It was suppose to be them against the world, to take on Hickstead and rule it with an iron fist. And it didn't turn out that way, now when Bambi was with her new friends, she was stuck hurling insults as the former and bitchy snide remarks. But they hurt, they cut deep and Bambi, secretly, was getting tired of it. Not being in the circle, she still loved it, but she was getting tired of having to make Ivey an enemy, even with her betrayal and abandonment. While she wouldn't admit it to anyone, because it made her weak, she wanted Ivey back in her life.
But that wouldn't work, and as the Uber came to a halt, Bambi had to hope for the best. Maybe she would be lucky, maybe she would get Elodie Whitlock's brother. Honestly, Bambi wouldn't say no to Elodie either, but she had a hard time figuring out what way the girl swung. But Perry she knew. Anybody with cheekbones that sharp, the sexy kind that could cut glass, Bambi did her research on and she had been utterly ecstatic to find out that he was not immune to girls. Had she interacted on these whims? No, but maybe today was the day, maybe she'd get to flirt with Perry Whitlock while looking at stupid heated party boats and it would get sexy. Her imagination got the best of her, that playful smirk dancing across her features as she marched down the dock and into the office. And who did she find?
Not fucking Perry Whitlock. Unfortunately.
A familiar blonde girl sat behind the desk and Bambi wanted to die. Could she back out? She took a step back, but this was childish. If the door opening hadn't given her away, the fucking floor board just did. Feeling defeat, a sigh escaped her and she reversed course. Straightening her back, she pulled her shoulders back and stuck her chest out - the ole power move that got her through everything. Bambi Pelner was a boss ass bitch. She marched right up to the desk and looked down at the blonde girl and only uttered one word, "Ivey."

identifying features• Bambi is often found joking that she's not pint sized but fun sized standing at 5 foot 2 inches and often can be found making up for the height difference with heels or pumps. She has dark brown wavy hair but has been known to dye it darker for the winter or lighter for the summer. Nothing extreme but it can be noticeable. She has olive skin thanks to her Latin American and Italian background and dark brown eyes. Bambi always tries to have the trendiest of clothes and tends to stick with what's in style and in season. Her signature statement is a necklace of pearls.

Extroverted and -perhaps dangerously- ambitious, the second she heard about the ruling queen bee, Bambi made it her mission as a freshmen to get into that group or die trying. The daughter of a strong New York business man, she learned from an early age on how to manipulate people and how to get a good read on them. She has a strong sense of power dynamics and not so secretly wants to be the alpha in the group, which has her constantly vying for becoming top dog of the Outside Circle, hoping it will get her to break the down the walls of the Inner Circle so that she may join. Bambi has been accused of being ‘controlling’ which she finds utterly baffling, meaning that despite her playful attitude and smarts, she is prone for overlooking people's opinions and feelings for her own gains. Despite her best efforts, Bambi is quite chatty. She waffles between keeping her cool and letting other people have it, based on whether she wants or feels she needs to control the power dynamics of a situation. Bambi is bold, confident, and does not hold back whenever she gets mad, often kicking below the belt literally and figuratively. Unlike a lot of the Hickstead University students, she is truly not afraid of anyone or anything and assumes she can hold her own which may be her eventual downfall. Bambi does have a bad habit of not liking to dwell on pain and avoids unpleasant thoughts, situations, or conversations with distractions of hedonism and pleasure (shopping, sex, food, fun).

She was their second child, but they loved her so much, she might as well have been considered their first born. Bambi lived the silver spoon life - even as a toddler, she got the best of everything to include clothes, furniture, toys, and of course, day care. Until real schooling started, her time was split between Connecticut and New York thanks to her father's business to run and her mother's need for high end shopping and the city life that New York could provide over the quiet and sleepy Connecticut. She grew up with a love for fashion and the high end life style, following her mother in how to best keep up with trends.
When school started, the Pelners enrolled their daughter into a highly exclusive K through 12 school in Connecticut - giving Bambi her first shot at life on truly being away from her family for eight to ten hours a day, unsupervised under their eyes and needs. Bambi thrived in school, she had a nack for solving anything that her teachers decided to throw at her and became a bit of a teacher's pet. It lead her to be given harder work than some of the other students - and while there were recommendations for her to skip a grade or two, Isabella was ultimately against it - she didn't want her daughter to be a target of older classmates simply because of her age.
School also gave Bambi her first real friend - K, who would end up being her best friend throughout most of life. The daughter of a journalist and newspaper owner, K ironically enough lived a few streets down from Bambi in Greenwich, but they never met each other until the fourth grade, when K was transferred into the school by her parents. They were absolutely inseparable and did everything together despite their difference iin personalities, backgrounds, and fashion sense. Nothing could come between them - not even boys. They were so close that as they entered high school, other people would spread rumors that they secretly had a thing for each other, but they would just roll their eyes. They did however - make a pact that they would go to college together so that their friendship wouldn't be tested long distance.
At fifteen and after her Quinceañera, her parents began to let Bambi tag along more on their business trips to the city and also school her in people. It was perhaps this point where Bambi truly started to hone in her people skills and business like attitude thanks to her father. He knew how to hold his own in any sort of setting, and clearly knew how to deal a killing blow in order to get what he wanted. Everybody wants something or is hiding something that they don't want discovered, Bambi, he would say to her, you just have to figure what it is. It was a lesson that his young daughter would take to heart, and high school had been the perfect breeding ground to perfect such a thing.
The final years of high school came and went, with Bambi and K settling upon Hickstead University as their school of choice. The idea of moving across the pond sounded like a fun idea and it would give them both adventure and breathing room from their parents and expectations. They could start anew together along with the school's highly coveted and selective programs. They were both so excited when they got in, they even booked their flights together. Little did they know was that Hickstead University would put a wedge in their friendship, and ultimately kill it. The first few weeks of freshman year were pure bliss and awkwardness, nothing had changed between the girls until one day, Bambi spotted Shiloh Jensen.
Everybody knew who she was, she ruled the school after all with poise, power, and a very keen fashion sense. It became clear to Bambi that this was who she needed to befriend if she wanted to make the best of connections for her four years here. K didn't see it that way though - she saw the Inner Circle as mean, vindictive, and rude - finding the fun in belittling people while still gaining worship. She told Bambi that she wouldn't follow her into trying to get into that group. Bambi thought it disappointing and began her quest, while K began to become her own person individually - for the first time unattached to Bambi and starting to discover her own self without her best friend there to guide her or tell her what to do.
They became distant with each other, finding themselves on opposite ends of the social spectrum at school and it ultimately became the nail in the coffin. Bambi made it into the outer circle with the likes of Flora Stone, Tanner, and Jefferson. Their own little group - deemed worthy enough to not be minions but not good enough to be the Inner Circle. But Bambi has plans, and she just has to bide her time.
