It would appear that Gwyn was the only one easily startled when shadows appear in her shopping zone - the other woman looked utterly unperturbed with her cart of things. Blue eyes peered at the cart for a moment before snapping back to the face that had greeted her. Of course, she recognized her from creeping on someone's phone and immediately said her name. Gwyn wouldn't have even known that she had treaded inappropriately had it not been for the correction, "Leona? Oh! I didn't know you had two first names."
Naturally, that was then followed up with: Anne is reserved for family. Oof. Talk about cringe. But Gwyn, posh as ever, hid her cringe and any awkwardness that she might be feeling. She wasn't about to feel bad, especially not by a friend's sibling. Besides, that smile of her's said she was merely being kind, not bitchy. The blonde smiled now, bright and cheery, "Oh yes! I'm Gwyn. I'm friends with your brother, Aaron. I met him through Harper." Surely, that would be enough to placate, "Perhaps he's-"
She might have carried on, had it not been for something catching her eye beyond Leona, "Is that a Stella McCartney?"
Gwyn Knight didn't know where she had been for the past year and a half, but apparently she hadn't entirely been present, since she had only recently learned that Aaron Stonehouse had a sister. And not only did he have a sister, said sister owned a boutique thrift store that had apparently gone under her radar as well. Talk about embarressing. But now, with her day off both from the vet's office and from her uncle orion's massage business, the young woman was going to go scope the place out and she was doing it solo.
She hadn't wanted to do that. She wasn't going to ask Aaron cause that was weird. But she had tried Harper and Harley, both of whom were considered busy. Talk about inconvenience. Something told her it had more to do with the idea that waiting around on her while she shopped hardly excited them. Oh well. There loss. Gwyn found herself a nice little parking spot before getting out. A few store fronts down was Dolly's Vintage + Thrift - the sign poking out of the wall and hanging over the street like the olden days. Locking her car now, Gwyn headed on down to the store.
Blue eyes took in the window display for a moment, how beautiful everything was, before she walked in. The bell chimed, signaling she had arrived. But from what she could tell, she was the only soul in the store, "Huh. How peculiar." But just like that, Gwyn was distracted by shinny mini dresses and found herself pulled towards them like a moth to flame when a shadow appeared near her now. Startled, the young woman nearly balked before realizing it was a woman, who had some rather similar features that she knew, "Oh! Hello. Are you Anne? Or...I guess I should call you Leona."
"If anybody says scrubs are sexy, they got hit in the head with a brick, sexy nurse fettish or not," Gwyn replied, certain that it should have gone without saying. But maybe she was a werido, who knew. As Chris mentioned that horses were a lot of work, she found her head cocking to the side dramatically, her one eyebrow arching to add yet more dramatic flair, "Why, Chris White, are you suggesting that Duchess is the sole reason that you are single?" The young woman shook her head now, letting a 'tsk tesk' escape her lips as shook her head now, jokingly adding on in a solemn tone, "Blaming the defenseless horse...that is a low blow."
Poor Chris, he probably hadn't deserved it. But Gwyn Knight was feeling sassy all of the sudden. Probably from having to remain quiet during that god awful movie. Her commentary had not gone unnoticed by another pair who had actually had the audacity to shush her at one point, to which her friend here laughed. Speaking of laughter, a burst of it escaped the blonde as Chris noted he was thankful for summer, "Ah. Work more low key without those rascally drunk teenagers and twenty somethings?" She wasn't surprised. Gwyn frequented the R&R enough to know that while the UK and other European kids could hold themselves together, there were enough Americans around at that University who didn't handle their beverage of choice as well, "I don't think dogs and cats are affected as much as horses by the weather, but they do have allergies as well it seems."
At the mention of their friendship, Gwyn queued her best leo dicaprio great gatsby impression, "Why yes, I think we are officially friends." And then she rolled her blue eyes, "You're far too young to be making dad jokes like that." The young woman supposed it could be construed as fancy, but Gwyn couldn't help it if she were a woman of high tastes, "And don't like the atmoshphere fool you. You are not my type. I just like to eat nice." Plus she hadn't been up for a ride and there was no doubt in her mind Chris needed a break from both the club and the stables, "Hmm? Oh! Harley. Yes. She's quite shy and a stakeboarder, sorta different, but I think that's part of the allure. We literally, ran into each other, after I had been catfished."
A waiter appeared with the menus - explaining the situation. Three course meal - pick appietizer, main dish, and then a dessert. All up front. Drinks were seperated. Gwyn nodded, shooing the waiter away as she picked it up now to peer over, "Ah! Well glad you are finally settling in along with her. Did you do well at the horse show? I should have known one was coming up. Orion was getting a lot of calls all of the sudden."
Blue eyes watched Harley as she blinked, clearly caught off guard that she had picked up on the comment. Gwyn merely smiled though, hoping it would engage the blonde to share with her, which she did: "I was on track to go to the olympics when I was a kid but shit happened and it wasn't meant to be." The young woman knew there was a story there, but not a story to be pushed on the first day of what might be many more to come. She cocked her head slightly, her smile gentle and warm yet it still carried the hint of a flirt, "Well, I can't say I'm entirely sorry, mainly because now I get to have coffee with you rather than see you on the telly and simply day dream." Okay, perhaps more came tumbling out than she meant, but she kept a straight face and kept walking.
Only time would tell if Harley Mckinley would go running for the hills, but at least for now, the young woman remained put. The problem with walking with both a beautiful and curious girl though was that Gwyn still had to keep her eyes peeled to where she was walking. After all, it was one thing to be distracted with her phone and take a tumble with no witnesses, it was another thing to be distracted by a girl and take a tumble for her to see. Thankfully, the young woman managed to keep her wits about her as Harley spoke, detailing what skating meant to her, "Nothing wrong with doing something you love even if it is just for fun." Besides, didn't that just make it more fun? Blue eyes watched Harley's face now, from lighting up about skateboarding to catching Gwyn's minor flirt, and Gwyn watched how that delightful smile morphed into a soft smirk, "I think I'd still talk to you even if you were." Bingo. Laughter bubbled out of Gwyn, "Well, good thing you like to live dangerously. I think I like talking to you."
Everything was going rather smoothly, and Gwyn knew they were approaching the shop now. It was tempting to stall, to keep them walking, but even the young woman knew that was being desperate and well, she really needed that coffee. Harley's rain comment couldn't help but to keep Gwyn's smile lifted, "Awh, well, guess you and I have some things in common then. Rain. Fireplaces. Cozy blankets." Never before though, had Gwyn had her job been called 'cool'. It was a little surprising to hear, but Gwyn knew that she might be biased by the bad days at work . As for Harley, she confirmed her University status and then named her major. Her eyebrows arched, "Atheltic, cute, and smart? My my Harley, you're a triple threat," Gwyn said with a smile, "And here we are. Lavender Moon. Best lattes around." With that, she pulled the door open and beckoned her in, "Have you been here before?"
An unlady like snort of laughter escaped Gwyn at her friend's joke. She supposed she wasn't surprise that Chris wanted to leave some of his life shrouded in mystery. He was probably the best of both worlds for someone, a hot mystery man who still knew how to have fun rather than be downright Edward Cullen about everything. The man's prompt about her own flirting at work caused Gwyn to make a face, knowing fully well he was making a point to her, "At work? Ew. No. It's not like the vet's office is sexy. And I don't flirt at the barn, because, well, no offense, but I find horse people to be a lot of work." One equestrian girl had been one too many for her - not that anything was wrong with them per say, but the young woman quickly learned they were not her type. Kudos to any non-equestrian who could keep up with them.
Out of the corner of her blue eyes, she could have sworn that Chris almost looked sad as he watched the scenery go by. It was tempting to ask if he was one of those people who got depressed when things started to change color and die off, but figured that might be too morbid for a friend hang out that borderline looked like a date to others. Not like it was her fault that she was unimaginative when it came to guy friends, and she hadn't really been feeling sitting on a horse. Her last excursion with Chris, while on a gentle horse, had left her unable to walk for two days afterwards it felt like, "Noted." The young woman said with a grin when Harper was brought up, "And yeah. All animals have been driving me nuts lately. Its like they can feel something in the air."
She supposed it wasn't surprising to hear that Chris was married to both his places of work and his horse. Willow Bridge probably seemed ions away when someone was always spending their time in Hickstead. While Gwyn loved living here, she was certainly a London girl at heart, and sometimes the larger city across the river helped fill that hole, "They do it only twice a year, so this today is specials," the young woman said with a grin, "Be prepared to have your socks knocked off your feet." With that, they were inside, and Chris was helping her out into her chair. Something that Gwyn had been tempted to protest, but decided against it, Dino's was too nice to be calling out her friend on being a bonafide gentleman to her, "I'm always hungry for good food." She said now, her blue eyes scanning over the fixed menu in front of her. Five appetizers to pick from, three entrées, and two desserts. Plus wine to compliment? She was in heaven.
As for herself, Gwyn merely shrugged, "Same old me. Just work split between the clinic and helping out my uncle. I also feel like I'm dancing around with this university girl, trying to figure out if we're official or not." The young woman hoped they were official, she certainly got jealous enough when she saw Harley talking with other people who were not yours truly, but Gwyn also didn't want to come off as needy or jealous or anything else by wanting something official. Or maybe it was fine she wanted to be official. Honestly, it was hard sometimes to figure out what someone wanted when Gwyn herself knew so much about what she wanted, "What about you?"
Gwyn actually shot her friend a morbid look, uncertain if the two of them actually sat through the same movie together. Granted, over the past few months of getting to know Chris White, it was probably just his laid back and down to earth attitude that was convincing him that the movie hadn't been that bad. When he asked the young woman her least favorite part, she simply replied, "The whole thing was my least favorite part. The only thing that movie had going for it was the chemistry of the lead couple, but chemistry cannot save cheesy dialog. Please do not tell me that you try to pick up a girl when she's crying to you at the bar." Although, if Chris said yes, Gwyn would promptly tell him that she would be attending his next shift to see that work in action.
They drove along, and blue eyes could not help but to notice how the colors of the leaves and scenery had been changing - there was no doubt in her mind that with the colder weather now upon them that hot mess girls at R&R were not Chris's only problem, "So, what's worse? The drunk college kids or the springy horses enjoying the weather shift?" It was a valid question. Gwyn absolutely hated helping out Orion during this time of year simply because of how the horses behaved and its not like she could call out sick simply because she didn't want to deal with the ones who acted like they were hopped off on coffee.
When he informed her that he had yet to eat at Dinos, the young woman was floored, "What?!" He was lucky she hadn't just slammed on the breaks in shock, but she did make sure to shoot him a look with her blue eyes, "How can you not have eaten there before? You've been here for like...months." Perhaps Chris White, despite his impeccable looks for a man, did not get out as often as she thought. God, it was like she was saving him from himself. They parked, and she got out, "Well, I am about to blow your mind then. Or well, Dinos is. But I am part of blowing your mind since I brought you here." She locked her car and started to walk, glancing over her shoulder to make sure he was keeping up with her as she waltzed through the door, "Restaurant week is like, a fixed menu where you get a 4 course meal for 50 £ but you can still choose what you get. Its a great value and you still amazing food so...I hope you're hungry." Although, he was a guy, so he always had to be hungry, right?
"Table for two. The reservation is under Gwyn Knight." She said to the hostess now, who looked over everything before beckoning for them to follow her. It didn't look too crowded yet, "Looks like Willow Bridge doesnt have a lot of early dinner eaters."
She caught just the faintest flush of pink appear on the blonde's face, and Gwyn quite frankly, wanted to dissect what it meant. Was it because she was pretty? Or was it simply because it had been a compliment? If only interrogation was acceptable, "Why is it a dream ago?" The young woman asked Harley curiously, "Why isn't it one now?" Honestly, she knew nothing about regular sports, let alone x sports, so anything could have been lost on Gwyn that might have been obvious to a more knowing person, "Unless you don't want to talk about it. I am a stranger after all," the young woman mused outloud, before blue eyes looked back to Harley, a sly smile painting across her pink lips, "But I swear I am not dangerous."
It was a rather bold statement, perhaps too bold, especially for only meeting a girl literally five minutes ago - but Gwyn was curious, too curious, to see where this girl swung. Perhaps she should dial it back though, otherwise this might be a painfully long walk to Lavender Moon and that was only a few blocks away. Blue eyes still watched Harley curiously though, their gazes meeting as the other blonde looked up at her now: "Yeah pretty much every day. .depending on the weather. I usually don’t go until after uni but I’ve been spending a lot more time at the indoor skate park in the city. .I hate skating in the rain.” Gwyn smiled now, "Ah. I'll keep a better lookout then in the future. And I can see how the rain would get annoying if you're actually in it." She herself did not mind the rain, but she liked watching it from the window with a nice cup of tea in her hands.
When Harley inquired about her work, Gwyn was a little surprised. Perhaps she was not the only curious one then, "Oh! I am over at the Hickstead Animal Hospital. I'm a vet tech and animal nurse," she replied, "Huh, I guess those are both the same now that I think about it." If she could throttle herself for rambling, Gwyn would have done it, "And when you say Uni, are you over at Hickstead University?"
"I can't believe I dragged you to that movie. It was terrible," Gwyn commented now to her friend, Christopher White, as they climbed into her sports car, "I don't think I should be left in charge of that next time." Apparently not all romantic dramas were made equally, and this one felt more like it dragged on for hours than the 90 minutes, and that was saying something. Romance movies usually moved along so quickly. Perhaps next time, she should just settle for an action movie - those could be fool proof, right? Yes, they could, or so that was what the young woman reassured herself of as she closed her door and turned on her sports car.
The engine ignited with a powerful roar before settling into a purr, "Thankfully, I at least know how to pick the food. To Dino's we go!" And with that, she hit the gas, allowing the young man to pick the tunes as they drove through Hickstead to get to the main bride to take them into the appropriately titled Willow Bridge City. Gwyn always thought it was nice to get out of the small town every once in a while for a place that was just, well, a little bit bigger. As she approached the location where Dino's was settled, blue eyes kept peeled for a parking spot, before spotting one and taking a claim.
She parked the car now, killing the engine and glanced over at her friend now, "Ready to have your socks knocked off with some of the most delicious food in town?" They had hung out a few times since first meeting in November at the barn and it became clear to Gwyn that they were fully compatible when it came to being friends - even if he could be a little silly at times. The one annoying thing though was that hanging out in Hickstead, she'd get these looks from envious girls and it would drive her insane, its not as if she had been stopping them from coming up to flirt with the Chris White. Thankfully though, with Willow Bridge being bigger, she hoped that wouldn't be an issue here, "I'm hoping youre starving, because I am thinking three course meal. I think it's restaurant week." And with that, she hopped out.
Gwyn couldn't decide if she was really certain that just icing it up was the best plan of action, but there was no point in arguing, "Alright, you know your body best." She relented now, she knew when to pick her battle with cute strangers and she wasn't willing to be cut loose just quite yet. Besides, Harley here clearly skated a lot, not just by her assemble, but by the way she had moved to avoid crashing into Gwyn and how to land, even if that hadn't been her plan. A sprained wrist was probably nothing. Blue eyes watched the other young woman now go and retrieve her board without even bending over, "Wow, you really are a pro." Gwyn teased with a smile, watching her.
At the prompting to go get the coffee, she had to mull over where to best go. She wasn't sure where Harley lived, and would feel bad about walking her off in the opposite direction. Gwyn settled for downtown Hickstead, it wasn't too far away from work for herself, it was near just about everything else, so she figured Harley wouldn't have too hard of a time getting home from there. And while the skateboarder was playing tough girl, there was a pharmacy near by incase a pit stop was needed, "Let's go to Lavender Moon, they should be quiet at this time since the morning rush is over." She gestured for Harley to follow her lead as she started to walk, "So...are you at the skatepark often?" Small talk, while painful sometimes, was always the best way to go at first, especially since Gwyn already found herself keenly interested in figuring out whether Harley swung her way, "It's just that I've never seen you around before, and I am very guilty of cutting through here a lot on my way to to work."
Gwyn cocked her head, watching the girl's smile turn from brilliant to a shade of grimace. Her blue eyes dropped to her hands, and noticed how she was holding her wrist. Hopefully that was the culprit of the girl's sudden look verses anything that may have just happened between them in those few fleeting seconds. As the thought processed through the young woman's mind, Gwyn knew she had to rein it in. Now was not the time to start obsessing over some pretty girl who nearly pancaked her. That started after the girl walked away and she had her number.
She waved the other blonde off at her apologize, "Please, it's just a latte." Well, it was an 8 £ latte, but that was a devil's detail she wouldn't bring up to this cute skateboarder. Speaking of her, she had a name now. Harley. The sort of name that could roll off a tongue in a good way, "Harley." Gwyn repeated now, doing just that, "Cute name." Nearly forgetting that the poor girl mentioned that her wrist might be strained, but neverminded that her wrist was hurting, "How about we get that latte and then I take you to wherever you need to go to get that wrist checked out." Since even though Gwyn was a 'nurse' per say, she figured dogs and cats were different from humans, "May I help you carry your...board? Skateboard?"
"Shit!" The words were loud and close, so close, that Gwyn actually stopped dead in her tracks as someone flew right past her, with just enough distance for her latte to be knocked down to the ground. The clattering of a skate board following suit. For a moment, the young woman was stunned. Her heart beat racing in her chest at the thought that she was nearly taken out by a fucking state boarder. She could have met a fate just like her latte. Anger built up. Never mind that she was on the skateboarder's territory and was the one at fault, she didn't have time for that logic. The young woman turned sharply, rounding on where the skateboarder had landed. For a few seconds, there was just this sprawled body on the grass and a mess of platinum blond hair. Gwyn gave pause and then the other young woman shot up now, siting up quickly and holding her wrist to her chest, "Are you okay?"
Those pale blue eyes melted Gwyn as soon as they made contact with her. Her anger at nearly being taken out vanished and she had forgotten all about the latte that she had just dropped. The girl before her was beautiful with her squarish face and strong jaw line, those pale blue eyes that peered from messy, wavy hair. Earth to Gwyn, fucking answer the girl. Her thoughts snapped her back to the present, "Thanks to your superhero moves there, I am unscathed. I can't say the same for my latte but that's fine." Her blue eyes dropped to the girl's wrist, watching how she was holding it some what gingerly. She took a few steps towards the girl now before squatting down before her, managing to keep herself perfectly balanced and firmly planted in her heels, "What about you though? Are you hurt?" If only she had been a people nurse instead of an animal nurse, she could have actually saved the day. Maybe she still could, "I'm Gwyn by the way." Okay, maybe it was overkill already trying to get a name out of the girl, but if fate was kind enough to have her crash right here, she wasn't about to let her get away without an introduction.

Words could not describe how livid she felt in that moment, as she stormed her way to work. She had been so angry, she didn't trust herself herself to drive so she opted to leaving her car parked outside some cute boutique cafe and walked despite the high heel of her booties. Gwyn felt like her time had been wasted, she dressed up for nothing, and the only good thing she got out of it was an 8£ organic chai latte with coconut milk. Her phone buzzed loudly, work both wondering where the young woman was and if her morning 'date' had gone well. Fishing it out of her backpack while managing to not spill her scrubs or latte to the ground, Gwyn was quick to start passionately typing away with purpose: UGHS I WAS CATFISHED. That bish had a dog on her profile, so I thought there was common ground. She fessed up to it being a friend's dog that she borrowed. Last time I swipe right on a profile with an animal involved. Be there soon.
Maybe it was just as well that confession had come out quick. Gwyn didn't like to waste her time with other woman who felt the need to lie about that sort of thing. What if she wanted a dog like months into the relationship to share? THEN WHAT?! Could have been awkward. It was enough to scare the young woman off of app dating for a bit. She needed a break from this. Free food and chai lattes were great, but it was getting far too exhausting. Plus, it took her away from her Uncle Orion, and due to poor planning on her part, it cut into her work time and wasted vacation hours. Shaking her head, the young woman vowed that she, Gwyn Alice Knight, witnessed on November 8th, would no longer date for a significant time and there would be no girl, no pretty face, that could make her change her mind. The fiery vow added a bit ompf to her step now, no longer was she reeling from her anger but confidence. And that new found confidence should probably get her ass to work pretty soon.
Gwyn had caught sight of the time, traveling by foot really was making her start to cut it close, "Fuck, fuck, fuck fuckity fuck." She muttered to herself, quickly stashing her phone. Blue eyes looked to her surroundings, taking in the lay of the park land to see where her anger had carried her. Not too far off course, but her travel would be faster if she cut through the Skate Park. It would probably be early enough to where it wasn't littered with people and their skate boards. After all, cutting through there did not mean skirting around the grounds, it literally meant cutting through the middle of it. The flat part of course, the young woman wasn't about to slide through a bowl. Quickly, she picked up the pace and headed on her way. As she entered the Skate Park, Gwyn paid no mind to the fact that there were actually several skaters around and she was about to ruin their day by accident. It didn't take long either, for Gwyn made it only maybe a few feet before obliviously stepping into the path of a skater like a deer into a fast moving car.

the appearance
face claim• Taylor Swift
identifying features• Standing at a whopping 5'10, Gywn tends to tower over her female companions, and probably to much annoyance, some male companions as well. Despite her height and long limbs, she handles herself with grace and poise, deciding its best to own her height rather than feel awkward over it. Even when at the vet office or out on call with her uncle, Gywn makes sure to look her best with her fair skin properly done up, make up and all. She has naturally blonde hair, but she has been known to lighten it up when she feels like it and blue grey eyes, with her irises outlined with black. Gwyn will often style her hair to reflect her room, one time when she was really angry, she went to far to chop a good portion of it off to express her inner rage. By miracle, her body remains free of scars despite working with animals.

She has no time for being awkward or beating around the bush, she knows what she wants. She feels as if she is a very independent person and knows how to cut to the chase. While she has a range of emotions, she's usually quite upbeat and certain of herself. Given the amount of responsibilities she has, she tends to be very energetic, adaptable, and inventive. She has a natural talent of being able to empathize with others and likes to pride herself on being a great listener. Unfortunately, Gwyn can also be dramatic, mainly about people, and it can get the best of her if she doesn't check herself. It tends to hurt her close relationships with people, and certainly has been the downfall of several relationships due to clingy-ness and sometimes, jealousy.

TW: Homophobia
The start of Gwyneth's life had originally been like that of any little girl, born to two loving and high respected parents - Her father a member London Architect scene and her mother a high end designer in the London Fashion scene. They doted on her like a little princess, and she was certain that her life would always remain that way - a 'London princess' so to speak. Unfortunately, being young, she missed out on the unhappy ques in her parents marriage. Both of her parents were power hungry and dominate, each one refusing to accepting to sacrifice their career and always schemed to try and make the other one the stay at home parent. As she got older, Gwyneth saw these cracks and began to realize that maybe her storybook life was not quite that.
To distract herself from the fallout at her home, Gwyneth buried herself into friendships at school and a creative outlet at home with writing, doodling, and poetry. She became very good friends with Chloe Price, a little rugged, a smart ass outsider with a rebellious edge. They made quite the little pair throughout primary school, they even swore to each other that they were going to become animal saviors because what little girl was not obsessed with being a vet at the age of Eight? Chloe became her companion throughout everything, and was most helpful when the atomic bomb went off at her house - her mother caught cheating and had the audacity to bring that person home and her father walked in on it. Turned out, she had been doing it multiple times. Soon came the ugly divorce, and somehow, Spencer Lockwood ended up with sole custody of his daughter while her mother jetted off to NYC.
Home life became lonely, but she always had Chloe. Her father got lonely too though, and started going back to church, something that he used to do as a boy and that his father, Joel Lockwood, heavily suggested to Andros that he do over the phone. After all, when he left Manchester for London, London had corrupt him. The money, the booze, his promiscuous wife that turned out unfaithful and her genetics were in their very daughter now. Andros, feeling alone and betrayed, decided to listen to his brother and return to church, to find purpose, reconstruct his life, and perhaps a more faithful wife. As luck would have it, he did. He met Mary Margert Ashely with her two children, recently widowed, and was she devout to the church. Somehow, he fell in love. Gwyn didn't understand it. This woman was dower, hardly fashionable, and strict. Unbelievably strict. Her children were no better and made Gwyn's life miserable at home. As she grew older, she took more to more with spending less time at her house, and more at school and with Chloe. Any excuse to not be around her new family. She also began to notice other changes. Some with her body, she shot up in height, began to develop curves, had to fight ache, her moods always wild, and she felt the need to tame her hair often.
Her body and mood swings weren't the only changes though. Gwyn noticed that she got butterfly feelings around not boys, but girls. Especially around Chloe. It was like she couldn't concentrate, her eyes, her lips, the shape of her body. Everything was so distracting. Her stomach always felt queasy around girls, a deep fire would ignite within her that she didn't know how to let loose. Unfortunately, she also knew she could not talk about this information at home. It went against God, it went against everything in that stupid church, it went against the beliefs of the now Lockwood-Ashely combined household. Gwyn knew she had to be careful. One day, she made her move on Chloe, because she couldn't bare it any longer and to her shock, Chloe returned the kiss.
They saw each other in secret, but as people in love do, they got sloppy, and much like in the fashion of her mother, Gwyn and Chloe were discovered fooling around in bed when the Lockwood-Ashley's came home unexpectant. Horrified, Chloe was thrown out and then Gwyn was thrown into her room. It soon became an uprooting of the house hold, and they moved neighborhoods to separate her from Chloe. Her smart phone was taken away, she could only have a controlled flip phone. Gwyn even got pulled out of school and stuck in a highly restrictive religious school, that supposedly would also cure her of her sinful habits. It didn't, but she faked her way through it just to get out. Right before her eighteenth birthday, Gwyn had been sneaking around with another girl and got caught again. The Lockwood-Ashely's were livid and cut ties completely, and kicked her out of the house.
When she took an expensive cab to Chloe's place, she found a new family living there. Apparently the Prices had moved out of the United Kingdom. Something to do with deployment. At a loss, Gwynth remembered her Uncle Reginald Lockwood, who went by Orion Knight now, legally and everything. She knew he had been disowned by his half of the Lockwood family for similar reasons. Recently, he came back from Syria, alive but blinded. She called him up, hoping to move in with him and to act as some sort of assistant. In addition, Gwynth also needed some form of adult support if she was going to go to college, and more importantly, finish her high school diploma. Thankfully, she managed to do just that. In honor of her memory of Chloe and their dreams of saving animals, Gwyn enrolled into a veterinary program with a concentration in dogs and animals, but took additional exams and certification for pocket pets and large farm animals. She ended up loving her Uncle so much, and was forever thankful for his help, decided to move in with him permanently and become his care taker, balancing his needs as well as her own. She followed him to Hickstead and has been living with him since. She even erased her Lockwood last name, and adopted Knight as well, completely erasing her connection to her family as they did to her.
