He will plod after whomever catches him and shows no immediate signs of hostility. He's got a nice enough mind, and easy to work with. However, he can be an asshole - he will become standoffish with people and detached, almost feral and wild when people approach him in foul moods. He replicated and gives off the same energy as people, and it can lead to interesting times for those involved. the history owner • Eryx, for now. father • Unknown mother • Unknown siblings • Unknown overall history • Echo was one of many mass bred horses in a far too small backyard breeder property in Ireland, and grew up mostly feral on little food. He was abruptly weaned and rounded up onto a truck to be taken to be sold for profit. He was bought and sold a few times with sprinklings of training by the souls that wanted to help him but couldn't. He fell into the hands of an elderly gentleman who bought him for cart work and his trust in people grew. From pulling sulkies to being ridden, Echo did it all and was all the more merry for it. He was happy and content, fed and turned out regularly to kick up his heels and relax in he pasture with other geldings. However, his life took a turn around age four when his barn went up in flames. The old man rushed to free the horses, throwing open the stall doors - Echo included - frightened horses frozen to their boxes and others running right out the door. Echo was one of the last to flee, getting hit with burning debris. He and three other horses ran screaming, bolting over the wall of their pasture and into the village, the whole night a whirlwind of noise. Herded and loaded onto trucks, they were taken to a shelter to have their wounds attended to. It was touch and go for a while, but Echo pulled through in the end. He was later adopted by a man who kept him as a pasture pet, but later was ceased by Eryx as a form of payment. From there he was transported to England and worked with by trainers, earning himself an easy life plodding trails with Eryx when the man comes to see him. Otherwise he's left to his own devices year around. Quirks; - Rugs will always come off, or be found in a state of partial removal; no one has caught Echo in the act, just found him without his rug or newfound cape. - Is ticklish on the ribs and belly when it comes to grooming. - Basically bombproof - there is so very little that startles this gelding. - Loner, it's hard to catch Echo hanging around other horses. He isn't nasty towards them, and as a general rule is neither a leader nor a follower. the role player alias • BlackJack, Jac age • Mid 20s other characters • We speak no numbers here... |
