• Mare - Belgian - Ten - 16hh • Hilda is one of the few horses that came with the property when the Ledor-Kita family moved. A former workhorse, she's docile and slow and steady. She's great for larger riders and those who require a sidewalk volunteer. Hilda's favorite snack is bananas.
Tigger
• Gelding - Thoroughbred - Twenty - 15.5hh • Tigger was surrendered to Helping Hooves three years ago, due to his family falling on hard times. He is not a horse that is ridden but is one that many people can groom or take a nice nap with. Great for those who have invisible wounds. Tigger's favorite snack is peppermints.
Beans
• Mare - American Paint Horse - Twelve - 14.5hh • Beans is one of the newer additions to Helping Hooves, coming to the facility a year ago. She has a bit more energy, so she's great for riders who don't require a sidewalk volunteer. Great for slow laps or a longer trail ride around the property. Adores attention and is great with kids. Her favorite snack is Agustín Ignacio Flores hair apples.
Piper was nervous. She was hoping for this person that called would actually take care of the horse. Montana had been with the facility for a year now, and despite trying to find the right person – everything had fallen through. While the family hoped to have her stay, the mare just didn’t fit their program. She was young enough for someone to mold her a discipline. They were prepared to have her forever if needed, but it didn’t seem fair.
The young woman took the mare and cleaned her up well, giving her a deep cleaning – something the horse loved. Montana whinnied a bit as Piper sprayed her down outside, almost prancing a bit at the water massage the hose was giving her. The mare had a lovely personality. Could be seen as a bit energetic but died down after a solid exercise.
After Montana was all cleaned up, Piper dried her off a bit – and lead her back into the stalls of those that weren’t part of the program. The rescues that were available. It wasn’t a rare thing for horses to come to Helping Hooves, but most got snatched up quickly. By clientele that would board with them, or other EAPs.
Piper took her time to clean herself up after bathing and setting Montana up. After prepping some tea, she headed down to the main office where she would meet this potential buyer. There she sat, sipping away – hoping and dreaming that this person would be the right fit.
Sabrina is Piper's twin sister (meaning the FC has to be Halle Bailey). Out of the two sisters, she is the competitive rider. Her interests and studies are up to the player!

Miriam is one of Piper's best friends. The two met in school three years ago. Study route and interests are up to the player! It is important to note that her father runs a shop at the Ren Fair each fall, so she loves a good Ren Fair.

She’s a driven student, wanting to make a name for herself. While she struggles with the basic classes, like science and math – she does her best to pass. Even if she gets called out for her daydreaming sometimes.
Piper can be inquisitive, sometimes a bit too much. Especially when it comes to other’s people drama or gossip. While she hates being in drama and starting it, she loves hearing about it. She’ll sometimes become a drama queen, if her work doesn’t come out the way she wants – slamming doors and crying out of frustration.
Overall, she’s doing her best – wanting to please herself and her family. Despite her love of hearing other people’s drama, Piper can be empathetic. Mainly towards other riders and people that sew. She knows the disappointments in both areas – often being a good ear to those that need it.

The girls grew up in the world of Halloween, pretty much 24/7 – harboring a love for the occult and obsession with dressing up. Piper and Sabrina also fell in love with horses, making the two an interesting mixture of hobbies and interests.
Lenora taught the girls about all things tea – and Yui, taught the girls how to ride, as someone who worked at an EAT (equine-assisted therapy) and EAP (equine-assisted psychotherapy) barn. Sabrina went more towards horses - and Piper was a mixture of sewing, tea-obsessed, and horses.
Being in pretty much Halloween town, Piper gravitated towards the gore and horror of Halloween – making her obsessed with haunted locations and suspenseful writing. She became interested in sewing and creating after watching her uncle, Aoi, sew a suit for a client of his. After becoming comfortable with various machines, her sewing creations became darker, and less classic Halloween – making her win a lot of fans at the local haunted house.
When the twins were 12, Lenora inherited a run-down farm and acreage from her grandmother. The land from the pictures was enough for both parents to run their respective businesses in it. But there was the idea of having moved the family to a whole other country – wondering if it was worth the move.
A trial run was set, where the farm would act as a vacation home for one month in the summer season. The worries about the girls not falling in love with Hickstead quickly disappeared. Sabrina loved the ability to have her own horse close to home, and Piper had the horror-looking shack as her personal studio.
It took two years for the land to be completed and made into a more permanent situation. At fifteen, the girls and their mothers were moved. The aura of 24/7 Halloween was gone, but Piper was adamant about having all her personal spaces dedicated to the holiday. It wasn’t a huge thing in England like it was in Salem – but the family made sure there was still décor in October.
Yui, wanting her daughters to have more advanced learning – suggested to the girls sign up for lessons. They both chose Blue Acres, as it fits their needs a bit more as it was closer to the barn, they grew up learning at.
Sabrina and Piper have spent the last three years making friends and paving their own paths. Sabrina is in school for Physical Therapy – helping Yui run her EAT and EPT program. Piper, following her horror-loving heart – is a costuming student.
Piper has stepped a bit back from competitive riding, more focused on cross country – while her sister excelled in the various disciplinaries she wanted.
