He gets along with most people, though his sense of responsibility can get in the way at times. He's a good man, one that will and has laid his life down for those he cares most dearly about. He denies his actions as brave, telling any who ask him that he's terrified of stepping in front of loaded guns or sharp weapons when the person he's looking over is threatened. But all in all, he tries to be a good person with good intentions to help those that need it.

overall history • William grew up in a normal, healthy family, a normal kid. And like normal kids, he had his share of time picking on his little brother and standing up for him when other kids took to picking on him. He was a good student, did well in school and loved sports. He found himself taking to the water like a duck, and had enough vice and strength to take up kick boxing for the fun of it.
His parents were there for him, encouraging them to do their best, finding time to go on family holidays to visit family and get away from the city. Between school, sports and his parents, William had it all as far as he was concerned. He cared about his family, especially when his brother was diagnosed with bi-polar. It was a smooth and wonderful time in his youth, even when he moved into high school. He was popular - not a typical jock, but sporty enough that he held his own against his peers and was even more of a gentleman given the nature of his family.
It was in highschool that he met her - Catelina Glover, young and slightly fourteen. He could never put words together to make sense of why he felt the way he did, but he would never think twice about it. She made him better than he was, completed him, complimented him, and whilst others looked down on them William kept his head high and proud. His parents were sure it was just going to be some passing fling like all teenagers, but over the years they simply grew strong and happier, more content as they moved through school and into college. He followed his love of sports, ramping up his kick boxing and scored good grades, however when the chance came to move into university at eighteen, he waved it off and decided to take on the full time job of a mall security officer.
It was this choice that led to his career path today. He bent the knee for Catelina at the age of twenty-one, and the following year they were welcoming their daughter into the world. William was proud, insanely so that there was a point where he considered giving up his security job to find less risky work in the gaming industry, but he knew it was unrealistic to just up and leave a good paying job with a new baby. He stuck to it, working hard to provide whilst also being a very active father, dividing his time up as equally as he could to spend time between family and work.
They were blessed again two years later with a baby boy, and both agreed that they were content with their children. William thought himself very lucky to have such a wonderful woman in his life, two beautiful children and the world laid out before them. At twenty-five, he finally allowed and gave his wife the wedding she wanted. It was a wonderful celebration; their little girl throwing petals down the isle in hazardous clumps with a huge grin, his father carrying their son down the isle as the ring bearer, his brother as his best man. It was magical; everything he could wish and hope for, and when he got to kiss the bride - it was like he'd met her for the first time all over again.
It was only a few nights after the wedding when William was admitted to hospital, suffering a knife wound to the back during one of his late nights. He was rushed in for surgery having pierced a lung, and the ordeal took several months to recover from. It was the first major accident he'd had at work, others being so minor he'd brushed a lot of it of.
A year later, he was promoted, and six months into that he was offered a job as a body guard for a high paying company that could use a man of his skills and time served. He accepted it, but it brought on stress to the family that would eventually turn into fractures and ultimately breaking point. For all William's efforts, he was routinely getting hurt more every seven or eight months, with some of the calls to the hospital leaving the sour and bitter concern he wouldn't see daylight. He would always come around from being stabbed, shot, bludgeoned or drugged, always taking the hits for the rich men and women that called him their body guard for the week.
His worst injuries saw him in a month long coma at the age of thirty-six, after being gunned down protecting a young rich boy who had done nothing but bad mouth him the entire time. He was rushed into the hospital and into major surgery to remove six bullets from his body and repair a shattered rib. Six weeks later when he woke up, he was told that he should consider ending his career by the doctors, who all admitted they had no idea if his body would handle too much more trauma. He even considered it, but he had his family to take care of.
When he was let out, Catelina begged him to give up the job, but it turned into one of their rare heated arguments that saw Catelina throw divorce at him. He was shocked, tried to reason with her, but the heat of the moment and stress saw her take on the legal action to divorce him. The courts ruled in Catelina's favor, and William - bitter that the woman he idolized was walking away, went back to work weeks earlier than he should've. He still isn't sure how or when he should've given up, but knowing he could not change the outcomes of what his wife wished, he let it be and didn't try to take action against her.
Now a day he is tasked to be the body guard of a young noble woman, whilst still trying to be an active part of his teenage children's lives. He does everything he can to juggle his shifts so that he can spend time with them, even making sure that during the holidays he is available for half the time. He loves them to the ends of the world and back, but he has been having issues, unable to connect with them like he had before.
