full name • Georgia Eliza Moriarty
nicknames • Libby, Liz, Goergie
age • 17
birthday • May 23, 2007
occupation • Pre-Med, Rider
gender • female
sexuality • in the closet queer
barn • Helping Hooves
face claim • Cailee Spaeny
identifying features • Georgia stands at a whopping 5’-1” (and yes she will fight you on that extra 1”) with a slender build. She has brown hair, currently at chin length but is actively growing it out. Like her sister, Georgia is a paler skin tone - but Georgia is even more so as an avid user of sunscreen and sun protection has her almost rivaling Edward Cullen. Despite looking healthy and fit, it hides years of eating disorder damage and Type 1 Diabetes. She can come off as dull in fashion and makeup, opting to blend in more. The more in the background she can be, the less distractions.
likes • insects and arachnids, listening to classical music, solo dance parties, long trail rides, reading classics
dislikes • clubbing, golf, MLMs, absurd diet culture, sitting still, fake banana flavour, black coffee
strengths • science (especially chemistry), math, keeping out of the way/minding her own business, crocheting (amigurumi and flowers)
weaknesses • connecting with her sister, maintaining contact (prefers in person than phone), letting herself let loose
dreams • enhance care for auto-immune patients, understand Wynter better
fears • the cost of insulin, regressing back to her disordered eating
overall personality • Georgia is a tightly wound jack in the box, with sometimes no way to escape. A mess of anxiety and wondering if her five year plan will remain on track. Like Wynter, she does care - but it never fully extends past checking in and saying hi. It is something that has ruined many relationships, some that never recovered. She is doing her best to not come across as self-centered, and trying to become a bit more empathetic and open to more personal communication. Like many autoimmune patients, Georgia can hide her pain and struggle really well. She has improved in taking care of herself, but still fears to come across as weak and vulnerable.

TW: EATING DISORDER
Georgia was born to Owen and Maggie, as the second child. She was raised in California next to her older sister, Wynter. Her name sake is from her father's homestate, since Maggie was able to name the first on one of her favorite seasons.
While Wynter grew up being involved, Georgia opted to stay home. She followed her dad around, being more attached to him than her mother. California life was easy and sunny. Georgia, while not showing it all the time, enjoyed her younger years there.
Life changed quickly when the family moved to Virginia. Wynter handled the move better than Georgia, who became an absolute recluse. Refusing to interact with her family and ignoring her friends from California. During this time was when Georgia's eating disorder began rearing its ugly head. It had started in California, but the move and isolation made it worse. The reclusiveness hid the fact of her not eating. Opting to survive on iced coffee and electrolytes. Georgia would take her plate of food to her room, to only throw it out and wait a normal eating time to bring her plate back down. Baggy clothing hid her frail figure, as her face still kind of held the baby fat.
She wasn't aware of the damage she was doing, and the mixed symptoms of not eating and type 1. Things became apparent to her parents when they came home and found Georgia in the bathroom, concussed and blacked out. She had collapsed after exiting the shower.
A week-long hospital stay revealed Georgia's condition to her family, as well as diagnosing her with type 1. Her body was slowly attacking itself, and she was placed in intensive care with a specialty program. She was not aware of the rift that was ripped open, her parents nearly divorcing over the guilt of not noticing the isse right away.
Georgia remained in care a year before Wynter went to college across the pond. While Wynter was away, Owen and Maggie took great strides to make sure that Georgia had the care she needed. When it came to Georgia attending college herself, the family didn't know if she should remain close or not. Georgia liked the idea of following Wynter, but the parents didn't know if it was the best idea. But a miracle happened when a family friend offered care and guidance in England. His wife was also a type 1, allowing someone close to help Georgia on her own journey.
Feeling like they could trust her, Georgia flew to Hickstead to start her pre-med journey. Despite not living on campus, Georgia was getting better at talking to people. To help her break out of her shell, her guardians brought her to Helping Hooves where she began treatment.
She has run into Wynter a few times on campus, but opts to still be a homebody - thinking her sister was better off without her interfering. The two have talked and met up, but Georgia is still keeping her older sister at arm's length. Mainly due to not wanting to be a bother.
