The weekend was here! Midterms had certainly made the week felt like it was forever eternal and drag like molasses in the winter time, but now, freedom. Roisin Malloy, for one, could not wait. The biggest parties of spring semester would be upon them in a matter of hours - well, that is, once Roisin got herself back to campus, which she did, like a professional. She packed a weekender bag, stuffing it to the brim with everything that she needed in order to live like a bum in her best friend's dorm room, and made her way to campus.
It was funny being back, given that she had literally only just been there a mere two hours ago. Normally, if Roisin was being sneaky, she might have just stayed put instead of going home - but Roisin planned on partying all weekend. Plus, honestly, she didn't want to see a text book at all, even one poking out from her school bag. Everyone in her family sounded busy - some big farmers society thing was coming up - so surely, they wouldn't miss her given the young woman never wanted to attend such banquettes anyways. There wasn't anything that could possibly happen while she was away - besides, wasn't Daisy macking on some guy anyways?
Rolling up to the girls dorm rooms now, Daisy flashed her ID to get inside, unlocking the mechanism. She walked down the hallway til she spotted the familiar door and knocked on the door. Sure enough, the door opened and the face of Talullah Caufield greeted her, "Girl," Roisin said with a grin now, "Are you ready to party it up this weekend? Please tell me you picked out your outfits already."
Tally felt like her head had been in books for the last year, not just the last several weeks. As much as she loved them, it wasn't as simple as just loving literature to be studying it 24/7. When it wasn't the books, it was design keeping her busy, pulling her away from her social life and all the fun stuff she was begging to be part of. Luckily everyone in her friendship circle had the same issues and she didn't miss out on much, but she was still so over the studying. So was her body. Her fingers stung from the thousands of needles she'd accidentally stuck herself with, and all the sewing. Her back ached from all the hours poured over books, her eyes were tired and her brain hurt. Finally though, it was over. For now, at least.
She was particularly excited for them to be over because Ro was coming back. It hadn't even been that long but she missed the girl like nothing else - she'd come something of a sanity clutch for Tally. Even on a shit day, Ro had the ability to turn it around, tell the world to screw it and get Tally to laugh about the bullcrap. Tall wasn't exactly the tidest people - her brain kind of scattered from thing to thing which meant she could have a tenancy to leave things lying around without meaning to, but she was clean in the sense that she kept things clean - the bathroom was shiny, the mirrors clear, the carpet hoovered and no cobwebs sat in the corners of the room. Cluttered perhaps, was the way to describe it. She accumulated stuff without meaning to, and then just found a space for it where there wasn't one. It didn't help that she had a mannequin in one corner, swathed in different materials as she started trialling ideas for her next piece.
The knock on the door made her grin and she rushed over, flinging it open with abandon. "Girl," She grinned and couldn't help but let out a little bit of a squeal as she pulled the girl into a hug. "Don't ever leave me again!" She begged, releasing her so Ro could at least get in the damn door. "Are you ready to party it up this weekend? Please tell me you picked out your outfits already." Tally rolled her eyes and gave a slight groan. "God am I ready. I've been waiting for this ever since our last weekend out. I've got a few but I really can't decide. Did you bring yours or do you need to beg, borrow and steal?" She teased. The thing with being into design was she quite often went off into a creative blitz when going out.

The squeal that escaped her best friend's lips merely made her laugh, and she couldn't even finish her sentence before Tally Caufield was pulling her into quite the bear hug: "Don't ever leave me again!" She had quite the surprising amount of strength for a seventeen year old, "Deal! Nobody can keep me from you!" Roisin squealed back, returning the hug before managing to finish the rest of her greeting. Once the release came, she stepped across the door frame and into Tally's room - which, quite frankly, sorta felt like a second home to her - the unofficial roommate.
She slipped off her shoes at the door and put them off to the side with her bag as she listened to her best friend speak. Blue eyes glanced over at Tally now, "I take it your week was as long as mine? Who do I need to beat up?" Roisin asked jokingly, or was she joking? Who knew. She'd defend her friend like no other, like she was family, and that was saying something. Nevermind that Tally had an older brother and possibly an even more terrifying looking dad to make people second guess about double crossing her. Still, a grin spread across her face, "I brought some potential outfits, but I never say no to raiding your closet!" Even though the two of them had vastly different figures, they always seemed to manage it when it came to borrowing, and the occasional steel.
"What are we feeling tonight anyways, Tally? Campus parties? The clubs? A little bit of both?" That may define the outfits of the night anyways. Roisin naturally made her way to the closet now, dramatically flinging it open, "Ughs, your stuff is always so pretty, it blinds me with jealousy."
