Gorgeous hair is the best revenge
Hope had finished with her last haircut of the day, excited to go pick up Tom from the airport. It was a bittersweet moment for her as she knew he would be devastated that his hockey career was over. She on the other hand was looking forward to having him live with her full time. She fixed the client's hair, making sure it was even all around before taking the cape off gently.
The woman seemed content with her haircut, beaming as she got up from the chair. "Thanks Hope, you always do such a great job with my hair." The client headed over to the cash register with Hope following behind her. She continued to chat away as the blonde pressed the numbers on the debit machine and passed it over to her client. "No problem, always glad to make everyone feel and look good."
After the client left, Hope quickly swept her area and headed off towards the back of the building where her car was parked, leaving June and Corey to deal with their clients while she was gone. The car's engine roared to life when she turned the key, letting it warm up a bit before heading off towards the airport. She had tracked his flight during the day, knowing it had left on time.
Thirty minutes later, she pulled into the arrivals parking lot. Hope checked her phone to see if there was a text from Tom as she got out of the car, closing the door and locking it before heading inside the building. She headed to the coffee shop, quickly buying two bottles of water after she finished waiting in line. After paying, she took both bottles and headed towards where everyone else was waiting - glancing over every once and awhile to see if she could spot her boyfriend.
