Kennedy showered and changed after her morning at the barn. Thankful that she had decided to give Rosso a light hack as she wanted to practice her new Holiday routine for the Lounge.
She got into the backseat of the car and Lorenzo drove off towards the lounge. The two chatted on the drive, she was excited about the Holidays coming up. After about twenty minutes, they arrived. Lorenzo dropped her off at the front door, advising her that she was to send a text when she was wrapping up her practice.
Kennedy got out of the car, grabbing her bag before gently closing the door behind her. The front door was unlocked and she walked inside. There wasn't anyone there, which meant Esther was probably in the back running the store.
The brunette slid into the washroom and changed from her riding outfit into her outfit she wanted to dance in. She fixed her hair in the mirror, put on another coat of lipstick, grabbed her bag and headed towards the stage. She set her bag on the side of the stage and walked over to the bluetooth speaker, connecting her phone to it. She heard the front door open and turned to see who it was.
Clara had been rather busy in the morning, with schoolwork threatening to swallow her whole. Still, she had managed to remember that she should head over to the Lounge to practice a little for the coming holidays.
The idea was still a little bit daunting, but her workplace had really grown on Clara. Not that she hadn't been enthusiastic about it before - quite the opposite, actually, but moving and starting the job had been rather stressful for her.
Clara walked in through the front door, peeking around to see if anybody else was there. While the door was unlocked, the inside was frighteningly empty, which made the young woman second-guess coming here. Finally, though, she noticed another human being near the stage and waved. "Hello! I hope it's okay if I came here?"
Kennedy sat down on the edge of the stage, taking her runners - allowing them to clunk to the floor. If she was going to practice, it would be with her heels. She lifted her head and glanced over to the red head who spoke - forgetting the other woman's name.
"Yeah, come on in. You planning on practicing for the Holiday show?" Usually, the brunette would be snarky, but Lorenzo had started to convince her to be nice - suggesting that she start to make friends, especially at work. "I..forgot your name. Clara right?" She had no idea about how to start being nice, though the Holiday season tended to get the best of her. Her family went all out in terms of decorations.
She slid her red velvet heels on and swung her legs over and got herself up. The heels clicked along the stage as she headed back over into her phone. "Which one were you planning on practicing?" Dancing was something she hid from her parents, so she recently started to go to the Lounge as often as she could to practice - away from everyone else.
