brief history: The Jaegar family has been one of the most influential families in the whole Nordrhein-Westfalen, tracing their roots to the most influential noble families through the ages such as the descendants of Emperor Friedrich Barbarossa, the founder of Dusseldorf and the Counts of Berg. Throughout generations, the family was part of all the important events and after successful campaigns, accumulated substantial wealth that, after the unification of Germany, was passed down from the head of the family to the first born son of the next generation.

Milo Christopher Jaeger was born on a significant day, under a lucky star - he was the first boy of his generation and the one to inherit the family fortune. Almost immediately, his parents, grandparents and his uncle, a bachelor who adopted Milo as his own, started to groom the boy for his destiny as the next head of the family fortune. Named after his maternal Grandfather who passed away days before Milo's own birth, the young boy grew up in the downtown grand house of the Jaeger's with his uncle Adolph and his grandparents. His mother and father resided just on the outskirts of the city, in a grand villa.

This early separation and the strict, traditional style in which Milo was brought up created the basis of his reserved manners, his cold aristocratic way of talking and his air of slight superiority. From the time he could walk and talk, he was enrolled in many diverse development programs - he learned 5 languages, played piano and violin, skated, swam and took ballroom lessons. When he started school at the ISR Internationale Schule am Rhein in Neuss, Milo was already ahead of his peers and started grade 1 early.

At the age of 6, his extra curricular activities expanded to include fencing and introduction to riding. Milo, although impartial to most other activities, instantly fell in love with riding. For his 7th birthday, his parents bought him a welsh cob pony named Phoenix. Due to his short attention span, Milo never got into flat work though he learned 1st level dressage. His main focus became the adrenaline rush of jumping. With Phoenix, he successfully competed in short stirrups up until he was 10.

When he started grade 5, Milo demanded to live with his parents, bringing his pony with him. The large property allowed for him to continue riding more often, focusing on the sport more and more. His second pony became a Connemara mare named Eska who took him to the next level, introducing him also to fox hunts. Milo was in love. His parents didn't mind supporting his fascination with the sport, ready to buy him the next best horse whenever he needed it. Although he never regained the connection a boy has with his mother since he was taken away so early, Milo grew very fond of his younger siblings, specially his sister Annaleise of who he is very protective.

At the age of 17, shortly after completing 11 grades of school, Milo proclaimed that he would not continue school and would instead focus on his career as a rider. Although his uncle was against it, his father stood up for him, giving Milo the liberty to do as he pleases on the condition that eventually Milo would also become a part of the family business. With a handsome capital to begin his career, Milo acquired Rabicano Firefoot to be his next performer.

Pegasus had much in common with his young rider however his patience and talent lay in puissance and Milo, with his devil inside, couldn't resist. The pair quickly became one of the finest in Germany, winning last year the national title at puissance. After a few months, Milo also acquired Olympia's Gift to continue his career as a jumper. Success greeted the young rider and his mare. At 18, Milo decided to breed his horses, acquiring Nautika as a temporary replacement. However, he didn't click with the young mare, deciding to sell her once he got some miles on her.

At 20, his uncle started to retrieve his debts. First off, he found Milo a young wife to ensure that the money would pass to his favorite nephew and relative. Milo was forced to meet with his new future in-laws, his uncle sending the bride to be lavish gifts in Milo's name. Secondly, the old man started demanding that the young man begin becoming invested in the family business. His grandmothers, mother, aunts and sisters began planning his wedding. Frustrated, Milo packed up his stuff and left for England, telling his uncle that he was going there to meet with potential clients. In truth, he wanted to meet his future wife on his own terms.

Currently, he rides at Blue Acre, boarding his two athletes and his yearling there. Recently, he sold Nautika with all her stuff to a well known breeder. Renting on Oldaker Avenue, Milo drives a sports Mercedez and is waiting to meet his future wife. Competing every weekend, he does take a few days a week to travel into the city and do some business for his uncle.

overall personality: Milo is a very quiet young man who hides his feelings well under a mask of indifference. The only time he shows any emotion is when the devil inside him comes to shine. His eyes start to glow feverishly fiery and his lips curl up into a charming smile. He is strict and just, ensuring his horses now who is the boss (though he is never violent with them). Milo shows a caring side only to those he trusts which tends to be his younger siblings and his first love. He tends to be mistrusting of people and keeps them at a distance due to the way he was brought up. None the less, he treats his girlfriends and friends extremely well, is very generous and is extremely loyal. His inner confidence is over powering so that often people think he is much older than his 20 years. [/ul]
