Tricksy viewed the wreckage with an rather distant look in her eyes - it was a coldness, numbness that had settled in ever since the devastating fire. The late night call, the despair that seeped into Quinn's voice, it left her stunned. She had been there to move some of the horses - the expensive show horses were transported in lorries but those that could, the majority of the herd, Tricksy and volunteers took through the fields, herding them into the far paddocks of Seven Oaks.
Now, she was back, dressed in an old t-shirt and jeans, a sticker with her name plastered with a smiling face. She exchanged a quick 'hello' with Naomi and waved to Quinn before heading into the wreckage. She worked quietly, trying to pull as many pieces of what remained into the bucket. The sign of an almost untouched bridle among the wreckage almost made her cry but she bit her lip, continuing to work. Around her, men and women from around town pitched in, some chatting and joking, others quiet like her.

brief history: Born in Los Angeles, Tricksy's father wasn't around when her mom went into labor. He received the news of his daughter's birth almost two days later due to being in a remote location in Africa, filming a tv show for HBO. A healthy girl, Tricksy was dotted upon by the whole maternity ward because she was cute and cried rarely, mostly spewing bubbles and sleeping. Due to some complications, her mother had to get a C-section to remove the baby, a fact that affected Rebecca later on in life.
The first two years, Tricksy lived with her mom in Los Angeles, growing up to be a very cheerful, laughing and bold toddler who had a strong bond with her mother. Her easy disposition and adorable smile made her popular with all the neighbors. Rebecca, a dancer in her youth, introduced the girl to dance early on and Tricksy loved it. However, disaster struck when the girl was almost three. Rebecca had been suffering from a brain tumor for a year before needing to be hospitalized and passing a few months later.
At three years old, Tricksy only had her father for family. Unable to understand why her mother left her, Tricksy suffered for a few months, growing to know her dad. Daniel, always the major producer in the house and out was unable to be as caring and supportive of his only daughter. The death of his wife affected him and he was drawn into his work, using it as a shield from ever being hurt again. In the end, Tricksy was the one who suffered most. Ever since she was three, she started travelling around the world with her father, following him around set and being home schooled. Progressing quickly through her studies, learning to read and basic math by the time she was four, Tricksy was also exposed to many other peculiar classes - acting, dancing, languages and pronunciation, swimming and more. Each new movie was a new opportunity for the little girl to pick up something new.
Daniel always hoped that Tricksy would become the next Emma Watson, the child protegee destined to be a star. However, the loss of her mother and the constant pressure from her demanding producer dad caused Tricksy to close off to people, becoming shy and awkward when being asked to do something before the public. Very soon, Daniel had to part with his dream for Tricksy, settling with the girl working behind camera or receiving minor roles. None the less, Tricksy continues to train with the actors, picking up odd skills here and there.
At the age of seven, Daniel was in New Zealand, filming a TV show based on Tamara Pierce's book quartet called "Protector of the Small". Set in a high fantasy world, all the actors had to know how to ride, fence, shoot a bow and more. Tricksy started riding the ponies, keeping them in shape for the head holster as the actors were busy filming. The old man noticed her potential and encouraged her to keep riding. Seeing Tricksy open up around horses, Daniel didn't waste any time, constantly enrolling the girl in the best barns where they filmed. Due to the hectic lifestyle, Tricksy was unable to own her own horses but she got to learn from masters around the globe.
Daniel's dreams for his daughter to make it to the Olympics were crushed once again when Tricksy's inability to perform in front of a crowd struck again. Although taking on 4' jumps easy by the time she was thirteen, Tricksy was unable to perform at competitions even in 2' jumpers. By the time she was fifteen, Daniel had become very cold to his daughter. He wasn't abusive or harsh, he simply had little time for her and little words. Tricksy was left to her own devices, finding escape at the barn and through dance, maintaining good grades while being schooled at home. With her love for animals, she dreamed of being a vet.
At the age of sixteen, entering her second last year at school, Daniel made the decision to send Tricksy to a boarding finishing school in Hickstead. It was the same school that Tricksy's mother attended and he hoped that would do good for the girl. With nothing keeping her close to her father, Tricksy ended up in the small town, hoping to volunteer at the vet clinic and potentially getting a horse to call her own.[/ul]

overall personality: Tricksy is a rather reserved girl. She has a hard time opening up to anyone since most of her life she had been alone with only her father and his powerful presence as a constant. Bright and passionate, she is kind and considerate, loves animals and learning. Her desire to constantly be doing something is what allowed her to be knowledgeable at all the odd things she tried on movie sets. She turns bright pink when she is embarrassed and cannot look people in the eyes when put on the spot. She can get nervous to the point of feeling faint or sick. Still young, she has had crushes before but has never been in love. Tricksy is in a strange relationship with her father when they treat each others like strangers.[/ul]
