brief history:
theia has always been the 'wild child' of the family, a little eccentric, hard to control. even as a child she was a little terror, always climbing out of her crib and getting lost. she worried the heck out of her parents, but theia didn't care. as she grew older, she realised that her parents had always craved a boy, and so when damien had been born they thought that their family was set. however two years later along came theia, and really they never truly wanted her. she knew that, and resented their lack of attention toward her.
whilst her brother recieved praise for everything, love and attention, she became neglected, and everything she strived to do to make them proud.. never made a difference. after a while she gave up, taking to lashing out and driving them to the brink instead. she would get into trouble at school, stay out all night and stagger home drunk the next morning, meet boy after boy after boy and allow her grades to fall below pass marks. the thing was noone really cared, they couldn't get through to her, and so rather than persisting they simply gave up and deemed her a failure. even her parents stopped yelling at her. the only person who seemed to care was her brother damien, and oddly she was always less of a trouble maker whenever she was with him..
the family moved here after theia wished to pursure a life of acting, finding it the only subject she would actually put work into. theia knew that her parents only agreed to move because of her brother - who joined the local hospital on an intership, and that theia's wishes just happened to be the same were a bonus. she's still a wild child though, and she'll do whatever she damn well likes...

overall personality:
The first thing that comes to mind about theia is that she's a little on the wild side, she's impulsive and hyperactive and will dive straight into things without thinking or caring about the consequences. locked door to some abandonned house that looks interesting? who cares, she'll break in without thought and do whatever she wants. she's difficult to control, and will often be overly-energetic, spontaneous and be inattentive which is mostly down to the ADHD. she's great fun to be around, but her unpredictablity and ability to cause trouble and not listen often pushes people away.
she is however extremely loyal to her friends and will stick up for them, but she's not very forgiving, so if you mess with her that'll be it for you. she's fiesty, and if you get on her bad side watch your back - she's not all talk. she can be overly defensive, and will naturally lash out at people if she thinks they're getting at her, which could also cause her to appear paranoid. theia usually does it to stop people getting too close because she's scared of them not being able to help, disapointing her or turning their backs on her. however if you can really get to know her then she's actually quite considerate, thoughtful, caring, compassionate and smart... it just takes a while and a lot of trust to get that far with her.[/size][/ul]
