Taylor groaned, as her head began pounding in the professor’s break room. She had returned from a trip to the urgent care, due to helping a student set up a loom. A bar slipped and landed on top of their heads. Thankfully, it was just a bad bump and nothing else – but damn, did it fucking hurt. At least she had office hours for the rest of the day, so she could hide away in her room after lunch.
There was a reason why her students liked being in her classroom. It allowed them to sit comfortably and secretly nap if they needed it. She wasn’t going to judge them. Mainly because she did it herself. That massive rug with the pillows? Yeah, it was hard to not fall asleep.
Finally, breaking her silence on herself, Taylor walked over to the electric kettle. It would taste good, despite not being able to hide the fact she had a massive bruise creeping in from under her hairline. She heard the door of the break room open and Taylor looked to the side. “Hey, Pasha, I’m about to start some hot water. You want some too?”
Taylor didn’t know too much about her fellow peer. She did know a lot of her students had ogle eyes for him, Taylor wouldn’t deny it, either, but she was less open about that. Wasn’t professional. And, not like she had a chance with a lot of the hot men and women in the area anyway. There was a reason why so many toys had been upgraded from something made of cold stone to something that was a bit more...substantial.
