overall personality • Rhett is an interesting combination of Charming and Cocky, Mysterious and Lavish. He always dresses like he's going to a formal diner and has a habit of picking people apart to better get under their skin so he has more of a chance to take them home. He's nice, brutally honest and competitive, but also lacks subtly where it is most necessary. He only has a filter when it involves press or during large gatherings, being a gentleman to the nines, but behind closed doors he's the Devil in disguise.

overall history • Rhett was an unexpected child to his parents, and whilst unplanned for and sudden, he wasn't exactly unwelcome. Doctors were at first concerned he may have stunted development from his mother's alcohol consumption during pregnancy, and whilst there were mild abnormalities, doctors were convinced that he was not suffering from anything under the FAS condition.

He lived in Greece for the first five years of his life, living under the care of his nanny whilst his parents worked. His relationships suffered with his parents, as they were rarely around and were most often annoyed by his very presence when they were. They were the sort of parents that had help to raise their own child, keeping themselves distant from him. When they moved from Athens to Sussex, it was much of the same with a new nanny and very little attention from his parents. Attending private schooling with home tutors, it became clear in his very first year that something was not quite right with their son, so with a splash of cash and wave of their hand, he was taken to specialist to figure out what was wrong. Diagnosed with ADHD by age six, Rhett was put under care and a management plan that worked for him and there was significant improvements within the first six months. Whilst Rhett was a bit slower to learn than most other students, he was far too fixated to learn that giving up never crossed his young mind.

His nanny of the time, a one Anita Belle, encouraged him a great deal, showering him with praise and went with him to support groups and was always present in his youth. He looked to Anita like she was his mother, and wherever Anita went, Rhett was sure to follow her. He was well looked after, taught his pleases and thank you's by a woman that was not his own mother, and shown affections where it was absent.

He grew up confident and brutally honest, partaking in various sports and excelled in Polo and Swimming. As a teen attending highschool he discovered his love for music and whilst it baffled him in the beginning, he took to Bass and Drums within a few years, joining the school band and practicing at every chance he got. His grades remained steady and high, much to Anita's approval. It was however at the age of fifteen that both Rhett and Anita realized that something else was not quite right as his behavior began to change. Talking to doctors they were at first without answers, and it wasn't until he was seventeen that he was finally diagnosed with Grave's Disease - which made a lot of sense given his parents had enough factors. Starting treatments to manage the disease took a bit of getting used to, as some treatments were not as nice as others.

His parents never asked about the condition, just let Anita be there for their son and Rhett had to wonder what he'd done to make his parents so very appalled by him. They only entered his life to tell him what to study and he did in the hopes it would win their favor and attention, but it was never enough. All through College and University he studied Business Management and other courses that they threw at him. He stuck to his sports, and played instruments to destress where he could. He fell in love with the idea of the occult, taking an avid interesting in what it meant - it wasn't to say that he believed in it, but it was fascinating to try and understand the way people thought and believed in their own things. It prompted his first tattoo, one of many on his back, as he had symbols slowly inked into place.

When his parents found out, they were furious with him, but Rhett shrugged it off. He didn't care about them or their thoughts. He kept adding to his collection of tattoos, taking precautions to have them hidden underneath his clothing. Graduating with top marks, Rhett was prepared to turn away from Business but at the mention of his father wanting that for him, he begrudgingly did it, still subconsciously wanting their approval. He did whatever he was asked up until he was twenty-four, finally branching off and making good on his own by buying into smaller businesses and made them profitable. His parents were mildly amused at his efforts to go a different way but left it alone for the most part.

At twenty-six, Anita passed away due to an un-diagnosed cancer, which hit Rhett extremely hard. Anita had been there for him all his life when his own parents refused to be, so when it came to the funeral, Rhett took it into his own hands - finding that there was no one else to bury her. It hurt him immensely but he made sure that she was remembered, even if he was the only attendee.

Now twenty-seven and owner of several small profitable businesses, Rhett moved out of the family home and into his own private estate in Hickstead, as far away from the overly rich snobs of the area, finding the place to hold a certain degree of appeal for his Polo sports and the fact that his parents would never grace the area with their presence - far too low for their standards.
