Growing up as a kid, I never believed the stories of our people about being descended from wolves or about stories of the Cold Ones. It’s hard to believe that anyone in our tribe could ever change into a wolf or that there was some creature that lived forever and thirsted for blood. Then the Cullen’s moved to Forks, supposedly again after many, many years. Another family like the Cullen’s also moved in, the Valenti’s they claim to be like the Cullen’s and say they will follow the treaty. I still didn’t believe the stories until the first time I changed into a wolf, became a werewolf like my great-grandfather once did. Sam was the first to make the change and became the Alpha. When I changed, I became the Beta only because I didn’t want the responsibility of the pack.
We have our ‘curse’ to protect our people from the cold ones, although we had a treaty with the Cullens. It was fine at first, we kept our distance from the cold ones and they kept their distance from us, but then, one day, the Res school was struck by lightning and burned down. Now we have to go to school with the cold ones.
What makes matters worse, my friend from when I was younger, Isabella Swan, who is a few months older than me, is the cold one named Edward’s girlfriend.
The students from La Push aren’t getting along well with the Cullen’s and Valenti’s while being in the same school together. They don’t get along well and the humans that are caught in the middle of it find it kind of worrisome. To add to that, mysterious deaths are happening; the werewolves blame the Veggie Vampires but the Veggie Vampires claims it’s not them. Instead it’s a smaller coven of vampires; James, Victoria, and Laurent.
Meanwhile unaware to the residents of both Forks and La Push there is a bigger plot at hand. The Valenti coven has returned to Forks and the head male of the coven has a secret agenda, unknown to the rest of his family. He is working for the Volturi checking up on his old friend Carlisle Cullen and his family. Hearing about the recent development between Edward and the human Bella he is biding his time waiting to see what will happen whether Edward will allow her to live or to turn her, before informing the Volturi. But when he does there will most likely be dire consequences for not only the Cullen’s but for everyone around which might force the werewolves, the Cullen’s and a few of the oblivious Valenti’s to join forces and battle the Volturi.

However, Jacob only sees Bella as a friend and I’m allowing those who sign up for Canons to make the canons the way they wished they were. So you don’t have to conform to the way Stephenie Meyer wrote her characters unless you want to.
