brief history:
Her past has always been somewhat shady. When she was a child her parents never made a long enough impression upon her for her to feel anything other than hatred for her. Her father left the moment he found out her mother was pregnant, and her mother was an abuser of all sorts - alcohol, drugs, physically abusive... she had the whole package. Though at the time she didn't realise, she later found out her mother had been under the influence of a dealer. Still, that didn't excuse how she treated Kenzie, and at the age of five she was finally discovered by police and taken into care, her mother was taken away and she never wanted to find out where.
Kenzie didn't last long in care, she despised it but whilst there she encountered something she didn't expect - a half brother. His name was Leon and he was one of the coolest guy's she'd ever met. Before he even knew who she was, he tried to take her under his wing, being three years older than her and already been in the home for four years. He knew the place inside out and he'd worked his way up there. He taught her a lot of what she knew now - the fundamentals; how to pick pocket well, how to fight, how to steal, how to lie. She learnt quickly and fast, growing up to be one of his close friends, helping him when him and his mates went out to steal. No he was not a good influence, but he was the best support and friendship she'd had yet.
She was in and out of foster homes up to the age of fourteen before she gave up. Her brother left and after that she didn't want to know anymore - he was out and she was stuck in a place she despised. She ran, hard and fast and found herself miles away and completely alone. Without meaning to, she lost contact with Leon. At first it was tough but she soon found her way, using what she knew and what she had, creating fake I.D's and moving on the moment any shit hit the fan she travelled most of Canada and some of America. She found it harder to keep under the radar and when opportunity arose to escape Canada and go across the ocean to England she took it, getting into a little bit of personal investigator work when she found herself reunited with her brother and in need of extra cash.

overall personality:
She's never been an easy person to win over - Kenzi is extremely distrusting and doesn't often let people she encounters into her life unless they prove themselves - and even then it can be a constant fight in order to remain in her inner circle. She's incredibly street-wise, with a natural instinct in regards to working the dark side of society. She has always been a master of disguise, smart and able to do a range of good accents and change her looks enough to fit in with any con, which enables her to do her P.I work. She's often a little rash from time to time and can have a tenancy to jump into things without planning which can get her into trouble, but she's a good fighter and intelligent enough to get out of it. She's often sarcastic and quick witted, with a lot of fiest about her. Kenzi is never easily beaten and it takes a lot to put her down - get on the bad side of her and you'd better watch your back.
