Logan ruffled his dogs ears and then checked his phone for the time, before sending Kye out of the ring for now - Rory was due to turn up and he didn't want the dog to spook anyone as they were coming into the school. He hoped things had been going well since their last lesson, even if their lesson hadn't gone all that well previously. He'd kept things a bit simpler this time, to try and work out the issues they'd had the first time as long as Rory was amenable to that approach.

Rory had her day perfectly planned, though sometimes the mares and foals threw a wrench in them. She quickly finished brushing a broodmare who she had done some light lunging work with before putting her back in the mare pasture. The woman finished up before heading to the stallion paddocks, whistling for Merlin as she approached his private pen.
Merlin lifted his head from his flake of hay and trotted over to her, pieces of hay coming from his mouth, causing Rory to chuckle. She held out a sugar cube and haltered the horse, leading him inside to get ready for their lesson. It wasn't long after that they were heading into the arena, all tacked up in their show jumping gear.
"Hi Logan, long time no see." Rory joked as she got up on the mounting block and got on the larger stallion. She appreciated his approach - especially when Merlin got a bit studish and decided that he was excited after a jump or two.
