Welcome to Hickstead, home to both Seven Oak Stables, and Blue Acre - two rival stables. Both offer opportunities for their clients to reach the highest level of excellence. Each stable differs from the other, so choose wisely and never forget, loyalty is everything... Meanwhile as the stables battle it out, there's trouble brewing at the university. Be careful, if you don't pick a side you may get caught in the cross-fire...

Stephanie had finished riding Violet, giving the chestnut mare a thorough flat workout. Aurora had been giving them things to work on to help with their jumping and it was working. She cooled out the mare before hopping off of her back, handing her off to Cassie who had offered to groom for her for the day. The brunette handed the other woman her helmet and gloves as well - placing a hat on her head before she began getting the jumps ready.
The course she had set up was simple, having a few lines as well as a combination. As soon as she was finished, she rubbed her hands to get the sand off of her hands. The woman heard the gate open and turned her head to see her three students arrive at the same time. "Hello ladies, don't forget to check your girths before you get on. It won't be that difficult of a lesson as it's one of the first times riding outside. Let's get on and start walking around." She stood at the end of the ring, close to the gate in case the three of them needed some help.
Angél was excited about jumping lessons, and Ripple seemed to be in a good mood too as she got the gelding ready to be ridden, knowing that it would only be a few more years that she could get away with riding ponies, and she really needed to put as much time into having lessons with Sandman as she was Ripple, but she'd worry about that another day.
Once the pony was groomed and ready for jumping, she pulled a sleeveless jacket on over her long-sleeved polo and walked the pony out to the arena. She nodded at the woman's words as she pulled her stirrups down, rolling her eyes as she hid under the saddle flap - she was hardly going to mount up without tightening her girth - and pulled the girth up another couple of holes, knowing it would need to go up more before she started jumping.
Leading the pony over to the mounting block, she swung into the saddle and asked the gelding to walk forward, heading toward the outside track of the arena. Even at a walk, she made sure the pony was awake and striding forward nicely.
Molly Mac'Intosh made it o the barn just in time - she had thirty minutes to catch Luna and get her ready for her group lesson with Stephanie King and Angel Petit. Hopefully, the mare wasn't feeling salty, at least, for the teenager to catch her. Running to her locker, she ditched her backpack, and then hopped over to Luna's assigned tack box to grab the halter, lead, and grooming supplies before heading out. Dropping off the tax box, she made a beeline for the pasture, and soon enough, the fleabitten mare was there to greet her.
Soon they were back in the barn, Luna loving the attention as Molly worked viciously at getting rid of dirt and mud that the mare had managed to get into her fur, "So, I take it you wanted to have a spa day." She gritted through her teeth as she curry combed with an extreme passion. Clearly, it was always something with the mare, but Molly wouldn't have her any other way. Once stepping back, she looked over the Luna, pleased with her work. Ten minutes left before she had to be in the arena.
She hurried along, tacking up Luna now, and grabbed her helmet, putting it on before finishing up with Luna's bridle. With that, the pair headed to the outdoor arena now. Angel had beaten her there first, and as Molly walked up to be near here, she heard a familiar voice: Stephanie King. Check girth, mount up, and start walking. She did her business, and as Angel was using the mounting block, Molly lowered her stirrup one or two holes before placing her foot in the stirrup iron and swung up from the ground. Quickly, she readjusted her stirrup as Luna already began to walk and Molly steered her towards the wall of the fence.

Stephanie smiled as Molly joined them, glad that she was teaching a group lesson rather than an individual one - though she enjoyed teaching everybody. She watched as both riders got on, knowing they most likely didn't need help, but there was always an exception.
She stepped away as the two got on, walking over to the center of the arena. "Once you both are back by the gate, lets have a loose rein walk. Making sure that they are marching forward so that you can feel them walk through their whole body. When you get back to the top, let's change direction. Do you both know how to do a half turn reverse?" The teacher learned more and more about flat work from Aurora and that meant she was getting more and more ideas on how to warm her students up better before jumping.
"Also, what have you two been working on between lessons? Do remember you are free to bring poles out on days you don't lesson to work on things with." She told all her students this - it helped with almost simulating the horses jumping without the dangers of jumping a course without an instructor nearby.
