Each stable differs from the other, so choose wisely and never forget, loyalty is everything... Meanwhile as the stables battle it out, there's trouble brewing at the university. Aurora had just finished riding Indi - cooling the older grey mare out in the outdoor arena. She was mentally preparing herself for her lessons, knowing she had someone new on the docket today. Aurora had been informed that Emma was also joining her, glad that Angel had someone to ride with her for her first lesson at Blue Acres.
The blonde reached down and patted Indi on the shoulder, dismounting before rolling up her stirrups - fixing the fleece cooler on the mare's back before handing her off to a stable hand who was there to help her. Aurora thanked the man and gave him brief instructions before she took her helmet off, setting it on the side of the arena. She placed the ball cap on her head, wanting to keep the sun out of her eyes as she taught. It wasn't long before both girls had arrived, leading their horses behind them.
"Hello, Emma and Angel. Welcome to Blue Acres, Angel. How are you both this afternoon?" The older blonde turned towards the gate of the outdoor arena, smiling at both girls. She had a few fun and different exercises for them to do - wanting to see what Angel could do with her horse and how much Emma had improved after the most recent competition.
Angél pulled a hairnet on, looking into the mirror as she pushed every last piece of her wayward hair under the net so that it was as under control as she could get it, and then slammed her helmet on her head, leaving it unbuckled as she headed into the stall where her pony was waiting.
She had come straight after school, and once changed into her riding clothes - making sure to hang her uniform in her locker - she gave her pony a thorough groom, treating the lesson as though she were going to a show, minus the braids, and was pleased with how he looked once he was tacked up and ready to go, though gave his mass of mane a critical look, wondering if she really should have spent a little extra time putting it into a running braid. However, she had run out of time, so clipping her helmet under her chin, she lead the pony out to the arena.
She smiled at the welcome, knowing that the move here was the right idea. "Bonjour Madame, I am well thank you." She placed a hand on her pony's cream coloured nose as it seemed that Ripple wanted in on the introductions too. "This is Ripple... Uh, Rip Van Winkle."
Emma was excited for another dressage lesson. She had read on Aurora's board that she would be riding with Angel today. It was Vienna's turn for a dressage lesson and she was ready to go. She decided to go with her nice Sage green set, wrapping the polo wraps on the mare's legs before she got herself ready for the lesson.
The blonde braided her hair before putting her helmet on her head, clipping the chin strap. She grabbed the bridle and her gloves before heading over to the cross ties. Once the bridle was put on, Emma slid her gloves on her hands and led the mare towards the outdoor arena. Ahead of her she could see Angel and Ripple, glad she wasn't too late to her lesson. She allowed Angel to use the mounting block first, before she adjusted her saddle and got on Vienna. "Hi Aurora and Angel. I'm also doing good, excited to see how this lesson goes." Vienna truly thrived in the eventing ring - so dressage was something the mare needed to work on.
"Is this your first lesson at Blue Acres, Angel?" She fixed her feet in the stirrups before she nudged the mare forward at the walk.
