Emma Marie Brown was born into a very loving family. Her father, Matthew Alexander Brown, was a dentist and her mother, Amelia Rose Brown, was a high school music and drama teacher. She has two older sisters: Olivia Inez Brown (16 years older) and Bethany Rylin Brown (15 years older) and twin older brothers, Ethan Matthew Brown and Nathan Alexander Brown (both 11 years older). Her parents had happy accidents getting pregnant with her sisters while still going to school. Her brothers were somewhat planned. After several years of not getting pregnant among other struggles, her parents had decided they were done having any more children and accepted the happy and loving family they had created at that time. Then along came Emma. She was born and raised in small town, America as the happy surprise miracle baby her family had least expected to come along but who had brought nothing but joy to their lives.
Her father's parents, Grandmother Brown and Grandfather Brown, were kind individuals who passed on before Emma had a chance to get to know them. They had adopted Matthew later in life and were already into their later years when Emma was born, though they loved her dearly until they passed. Her mother's parents, Gram and Pops, however, had been small town high school sweethearts. They had gotten married at 18 and pregnant not long after. Becoming grandparents fairly young, they loved all their grandchildren but they were still full-time working individuals still raising some of their own. They were close to retirement age when Emma was born and as such were extremely involved in Emma's life, doting full time on all their grandparents, but Emma had that from day one. They were like her second set of parents. She spent her summers on her their ranch riding horses and mucking stalls. They lived close enough that she would go there most afternoons to ride and spend time with her Gram and Pops and any other family there at the time.
Emma spent her childhood helping at her grandparents' ranch, helping backstage at her mother's school performances, and entertaining her siblings as their precious baby sister. She would ride horses on Monday with Pops, cheer on the twins at baseball on Tuesday, help the Gram in the garden on Wednesday, work the props department for mom during rehearsal on Thursday, record her sister's cheer performance on Friday, go hiking with dad on Saturday, and have three-hour long facetime sessions with her sister away at college on Sundays. Her life was full. It was busy but it was blessed. She was too young to remember the passing of her first grandparents, and therefore the hardest thing in young Emma's life wouldn't come until her eighteenth year...
Emma starting competing at the young age of 3 - participating in lead line with her Pops or siblings. From there, she continued local competitions in Pee Wee and Junior divisions. Emma was a natural and she had so much fun doing it. She remained local until the age of 12 when she joined a riding team. She was competing, earning money and buckles and loving every minute of the sport and the drive. She made friendships that still exist today and she learned valuable lessons that she wouldn't have learned anywhere else. Therefore, when she turned fourteen and got to high school, Emma was absolutely stoked and what was ahead for her. She joined her high school rodeo and riding club. This is where she met Hunter Blaze Woodrow, her high school rodeo team's resident bad boy. Freshman year meant studying hard and riding harder. She and Hunter, a sophomore at the time, hit it off immediately. Emma had gone into freshman year swearing off boys. All the boys in her grade with immature little bobbleheads and she hated them all. But Hunter became her best friend. They talked and flirted nonstop from the first time Emma tightened his saddle and her gave her a leg up and by the end of the school year, everyone was entirely annoyed with how cute they were. Emma and Hunter had gone to her winter formal friends. Though Emma had sworn off dating for the time being, Hunter couldn't keep his mind off of her. He was smitten, and by the time Hunter's spring banquet hit, they were officially dating. The following school year, their bond deepened. They went to the winter formal as a couple, and by Hunter's junior prom, they were in a serious relationship. The following year was Hunter's senior year and Emma knew it would be a stressful year for him. He was making plans for the future - plans that included Emma. He kept her in mind for every decision he had to make, and she did the same. She stood by him. They had their ups and downs but stayed true to each other; Emma supported Hunter through his toughest year yet and family struggles he was facing. By the time his graduation came around, Hunter bought Emma a promise ring and she wore it proudly. She had found her other half. Hunter made her smile, laugh, and kept her on her toes. She could rely on him for the things that were necessary but he kept her guessing at what adventure they'd be facing next.
The next year, the sweethearts would face their toughest challenge yet. Hunter went away to college. He had been accepted on scholarship to a rodeo team at a school a few hours away. Every weekend, one of them would drive to the other, never spending a full weekend apart. It took a toll on both of them, but they were young and in love. By Christmas, he had her daddy's permission, and at Emma's final spring riding competition, Hunter appeared in the middle of the arena after the show, got down on one knee, and proposed to the love of his life, his cowgirl, his better half. She said yes, of course. Hunter's final week of freshman year came and he packed up his things, took his last exam, and raced home to his love. That's when tragedy struck. Driving on little to no sleep, in the wee hours of the morning, Hunter found himself in a car accident that landed him in ICU. Emma spent the last two weeks of her senior year studying for finals in the hospital next to her love. Two weeks after her graduation, Emma lost the love her life.
Emma may not have many memories of Grandmother and Grandfather Brown, but they did leave her a large sum of money, a portion of which she received upon her graduation from high school. Emma took the money and left home. After driving for hours, Emma found herself in Breckenwood, secured a job at the local tack & feed, and found a place to live. Each day she misses her Hunter, but she has a renewed sense of purpose, ready to take life on no matter what she faces. Hunter loved her sense of life and love for others, and she has made a promise to be true to that part of herself to keep his memory alive.[/PTab={tab-background-color:#75bdbb;tab-hover-background-color:rgb(117,189,187,0.6); tab-font-size:30px;color:black;}]

-Currently, Emma has taken the inheritance money she has received so far and booked it to the Hickstead. She's managed to find an apartment and snagged a job as a shelf stacker at the local farmer's market.
