With his 5 foot 10 height and his lean frame, he can blend into the college scene quite well. He has a strong jaw that looks like you can break your hand on and chocolate brown eyes, with a mop of messy brunette hair to match. He tries to keep clean shaven but even he can fall guilty to leaving some 5 o'clock shadow from being lazy. Teddy typically goes for comfort over style when it comes to dress, but has been known to clean up for a date or anything special. the personality likes • Drawing, Inking, Cute Girls, Zombies - any media form, Sports - Basketball, Gaming, Being a Night Owl, Food - Particularly Burritos and Ice Cream, Sunglasses, Vintage Jackets, Keeping it and Playing it Cool, Listening to movie or video game soundtracks while watching the sun set (yes, he is a dork), Being the better person, Organized Chaos, Sneakers dislikes • Oil Panting, Sculpting, Most Classes Outside of the Fine Arts Building, Sherbet - why have lame fruit ice when you can have the real thing, Music Streaming Services, When People Pick or Tease Other People, Feeling Pressured to Do Something He Doesn't Want to Do, Waking Up Early, When People touch his stuff, Stupidly clean spaces - dorms, rooms, art rooms; its weird, nobody should be that organized in their late teens or early twenties, Converse Chuck All-Stars strengths • Drawing, Creative Mind, Being There for People, Crushing Pints of Ice Cream, Knowing When to Stand Up for People weaknesses • Cute Girls - Especially Cute Girls in Distress; Knowing when something is too big to handle on his own; Burritos, Keeping his Mouth Shut - Can get himself in trouble with anyone dreams • to create an award winning comic; maybe if he meets the right girl - some sort of picket fence life - but considers himself too young to humor such thoughts yet fears • Something happening to his hands where he can't create any more; Generally disappointing people - he tends to do adult coloring books to negate this anxiety overall personality • Teddy, at first glance, can often be mistaken for one of those jocks who's part of the cool kids crowd. One look at him and peopled tend to assumed he's ass holey, entitled, and has little regard for those who are not in the inner circle. Truth be told, had this been high school, those assumptions would be correct. But he's grown over the years since high school, learning through a failed freshman year of college that being someone you aren't just doesn't work out and impressing people who want you love you isn't the way to go. Soul searching put Teddy where he is today: chill, laid back, and tries his best to go with the flow. He's pretty good at keeping his cool and tries his best to not take any bait, even when it's dangling in front of him. He might almost be too nonchalant though, which has caused him to get dumped in the past and leads to people attempting to walk all over him. Teddy also, has a mouth on him, and isn't afraid of to use it. His main weakness, other than burritos and ice cream, will always be pretty girls - he's prone to suave stupidity and being a lovable golden retriever - and if they are some sort of damsel in distress, he will go all out to try and help them or perhaps stick his nose where it doesn't belong - which may not always be the most helpful. the history father • Tom Beauchamp; 48, Car Dealership Owner mother • Cherie Beauchamp; 47, House Wife siblings • Reginald "Reggie" Beauchamp, 20, Younger Brother important people • N/A hometown • Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA overall history • Teddy was born into some sort of Tulsa Dynasty. His father and mother were high school sweet hearts and grew up on the right side of the tracks. His father's money came from the Beauchamp car business, which was made up of several dealerships in Tulsa and the greater area. A suave businessman, Tom knew how to get what he wanted and how to make people feel like they needed to please him. Cherie - dating and marrying into all the money in the world - pursued her college degree in business but took a backseat to just be a house wife, enjoying the life of socializing, throwing parties, and eventually raising her children. As the eldest of the two Beauchamp sons, Teddy had a lot on his plate. He was excepted to follow his father into the business, he found himself living in his parents shadows once he entered middle school, and even worse, high school, because of how great they were and the mark that they left on the schools - both when they were teenagers themselves and then later in life through charity and donations. It frustrated Teddy, but he refused to show it - figuring that he best play into his part. All throughout school, he found himself with the popular kids whether it was looks or legacy or both. Figuring it was destiny and not wanting to disappoint his parents, Teddy did his best to stay in the 'in-crowd'. As time went on, it took a hit on his personality and the joys he had in life trying to keep up with the expectations. His friends made him a dick in high school as he ruled the school and broke hearts, and his father forced him to pursue things that he didn't care for. The one disappointment he managed to get away with was getting into basketball - his father had wanted football- but it was a respectable enough sport so Tom wouldn't complain. Deep down, Teddy knew his behavior was wrong and most of the time, he found himself questioning his actions, but his friends and girlfriends at the time encouraged it, so he kept going. He also found himself repressing himself from activities that he wanted to do, such as drawing and video gaming, since these were activities that his parents saw unfit and if his parents saw it unfit, then his inner circle friends would as well. Fast forward to college, Teddy got into a prestigious public university to major in business and to play basket ball. However, those years spent growing up in his parents shadows and the need to please some friends finally caught up to him. He hated business classes - not understanding half of what was being said or what was wanted out of him, and basketball, while he excelled - meant studying video and play calls, which took him away from the parties that people expected him to take. Teddy crashed and burned his freshmen year, flunking out of college. The one saving grace he had, was a single art class. And it spoke monuments to him. His professor, seeing talent unrealized by his student, encouraged him to explore art on his own. When Teddy returned home to the disappointment of his parents and moved onto his younger brother for grooming, it had been a wake up call. Had he peaked in high school? Had he burned so many bridges simply because he had been doing his best to fit in what was expected of him? It was horrifying, and Teddy found himself doing a lot of soul searching during that time and re-evaluating his life and deciding that he was going to be who he felt like he should be, verses what everyone expected him to be. He took two years off, finding himself and immersing himself in a world where he wanted to be - art, video games, chilling. He made new friends - some had been people who he had even teased in high school. His father was annoyed with him, his mother not so much, but they did want him to return to college and get a degree. Teddy had become the black sheep where as Reggie had catered to their favor, and unlike him, business had actually made sense to Reggie. So Teddy decided to put himself as far away from Tulsa, OK as he could. He didn't even settle for a different coast or region of the United States, he went for across the pond and ended up in a quaint little down of Hickstead to attend their University and start anew. the role player alias • forever age • old other characters • herd |
