He doesn't even really remember the accident, only what he is told. He was put into the foster system, but he didn't find a permanent house that could cope with his terrible memory. He struggled with school and anything that required a great amount of concentration, getting frustrated easily. But he could get behind physical sport, joining the boxing team despite the warnings against it. He was sixteen when he was competing for his school when a foul move was pulled, causing worry. The hit shook and rattled Gregory, leading to a shift in his personality. Becoming aggressive and violent, he took to partaking in fights with students in school and afterwards, eventually falling in with a gang that ran underground illegal fights. He was paid for each fight, the amount increasing over time. He fought viciously and without control, beating his opponents into the dirt and then some - even turning on referees in the ring when they moved in to stop him. This raw unfiltered talent caught the eye of a undercover trainer and approached him with the chance to join the ranks of the UFC, provided he was trained and obeyed the rules. Accepting the offer now age 21, Gregory lived for the fight. He progressed in rank, climbing the ladder of success until another blow to the head send him on a raging spiral. At 25 his career strong, what transpired cost him everything. He was only seeing red when he retaliated against his opponent. They never stood a chance as he knocked out and beat the other to a pulp.
