but enough about me, here's my character. =]

age: twenty one. born june 2nd.
religion: none.
sexuality: straight.
marital status: widower.
occupation: paramedic.

hometown: los angeles.
parents: jordan and summer kingston.
siblings: an older brother and three younger sisters.
brief history:
-- nicholas was born the second child and second son of jordan and summer kingston. his father was a lawyer and his mother was a school teacher.
-- was raised in an upper class neighbourhood in los angeles till he was eighteen. he grew up knowing he was loved by his parents and his siblings and while they had the big family there was never any real jealously between the siblings. well at least he didn't feel any.
-- when his sister started riding lessons, nicholas went with them one day and instead of sitting on the side lines he asked to join in, was allowed to and hasn't looked back ever since.
-- rode as often as his sister did growing up, though he didn't get his first horse till he was twelve, he played football as well and had to divide his time between the two of them and didn't have the time for a horse.
-- his first horse was called killian or killer, a feisty little black welsh pony. it was actually one of the horses that had been at the stables he rode at, but he was put up for sale and his parents bought him.
-- he had to sell killian when he was about fourteen though, he grew too tall for the pony but his parents made sure that he went to a good home.
-- he didn't buy another horse after he sold killian, he rathered just ride the horses at his stables and loan them out for shows. he was still playing football at this point so he decided that it was better not to buy one and his parents agreed.
-- after he'd left school, he decided to study and become an EMT. he'd always had a fascination with medical shows but he'd never wanted to become a doctor, he wanted action in his job and working in the ambulance service was what he wanted to do.
-- though he didn't do it in america. before he could tell his parents of his choice his father announced they were moving to england. he wasn't all that upset about the idea. his football career had been ended a year before he'd finished high school thanks to a knee injury that still gives hm grief every now and again.
-- once in england, he got a student position with an ambulance service and has been working with them ever since.
-- he met a girl called megan on the job when he was eighteen. after a few months of dating, they found out she was pregnant. it wasn't planned, wasn't ideal but it had happened and they were going to deal with it. so they got married, it was their parents wishes and honestly they didn't hate the idea of raising the baby together. three months after their son flynn jordan kingston was born, megan was killed. she'd tripped up while out with her friends, the first night out since flynn had been born and she'd hit her head on a fence when she had fallen and she hadn't woken up.
-- it's been two years since that night, it took a few months for nicholas to come to terms with what had happened. he'd become married, a father and then a widower within a few month period and it shook him. though with the help of his family and the thought of his son he slowly got his life back on track. he works as a paramedic and does a few shifts a week as a personal trainer. he and flynn live in a house on oldaker avenue, his parents helped him buy the place when he got married.
